I have stayed here several times. It is very expensive so it makes a lovely treat. Personally I like that it is all „auf Deutsch“. I like to experience a place from that country‘s perspective, plus I can work on my German!

- We booked a room with a balcony and it was very nice to be able to sit outside to relax and/or eat dinner after coming back from a long hike. - It was nice to have a screen for one of the windows to keep the bugs out during the night. - Breakfast was great because there were many options for food (hot and cold) and coffee/tea.

Lovely hotel facing the snowcapped mountain and the greenery hill with mountain peak background. Plenty of on-site parking spaces. Staff are very friendly. The hotel is well maintained, has lift and Michelin star restaurant. Our room has balcony and a bench to enjoy the beautiful view. Room is spotless. Towels have no musty smell. Bedding is clean. Bed is comfortable, we have a good sleep. Good breakfast. Exceptional dinner. We will return in our next Switzerland visit.

Nicely situated within 200 mtrs from train and bus station. Train to Cablecar at Ebenalp, train to cablecar Kronberg and bus to cablecar Hohenkasten nearby. The breakfast and dinner were both fantastic. I highly recommend to eat at their restaurant. We ordered a Cordon Bleu and we could hear the pounding from the kitchen, and the Cordon Bleu was the freshest and juiciest we‘ve ever had in Switzerland. We got a huge terrace from our room, which was a nice surprise. Overall very good quality for the price we paid.

    This is the best choice, if you’re looking for Swiss experience. I got the room with the balcony, looking directly at the cathedral and the stream flowing down. The breakfast is simple, traditional and varied, but the hospitality is amazing.
