The apartment was new, very spacious and well thought to provide a comfortable stay. In my case we were a family of 6 with two elderly and two kids, and having a lift in the building and two bathrooms inside the apartment was very convenient. It will be my first choice if I come back to Úbeda.

Overall we had a fantastic stay at Palacete Sol de Mayo. The accommodation is unique and provides an amazing experience. The interior is old (this is its charm) and so guests need to be realistic about their expectations. José was very helpful and generous with any requests we had and the location within the town was quiet and yet close to restaurants and shops. Although private parking is available in a nearby location we found it easier to park in the Mirador carpark several minutes walk away.

Perfect location in the very centre of the old town, close to all sights. We were there in October and had it all just for ourselves. The house has a great terrace to sit, have a drink and watch silent streets down there
