We loved our stay at Hemma Grove - right from the start the hosts were lovely. It's tucked away and peaceful but an easy drive in to Kilkenny. The rooms were so comfy and roomy, beautifully designed and the bathroom is stunning! The hosts have 2 lovely dogs who were great fun and a highlight of the trip for sure. So much information and recommendations were provided we had no problem planning our activities. Also had a wonderful walk around the grounds.

Property well located for short drive to city, Mount Juilett, or villages. Very comfortable, accommadation, cosy, clean - in particular fresh, crisp bed linen. We had a great night's sleep Hostess available if needed, local shop closed after 2pm, so she gave us milk).

The house had such lovely character, everything you could possibly need was there. For such an old house the bathroom facilities were much better than anticipated, plenty of hot water and the house was warm as well.
