It’s a pity we discovered this place only at the end of our trip, as we decided to stay here the night before our departure. Located 15–20 minutes from the airport, this spot is truly delightful. We are a Sri Lankan couple who travel around the country frequently, and this was truly one of the best stays we’ve experienced. The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast was the highlight — the best we had during our entire trip. It featured a wonderful selection of authentic Sri Lankan dishes, all freshly prepared and full of flavour. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay with genuine Sri Lankan hospitality.

I had such a wonderful stay at Sun Villa.. Everything was completely clean and well taken care of, which made it so comfortable. The privacy was 💯, so I could truly relax and unwind. The pool was amazing for lounging and enjoying some quiet time, and the food was really good. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Honestly, it was the perfect escape, and I can’t wait to come back....

The room was lovely with a clean bathroom and working air conditioning. The owners were fantastic, bringing snacks to welcome us and then a lovely breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend staying here after a flight into Colombo as it was a quick trip in an Uber.

The property is so much more beautiful in person, very high ceilings and modern design! Also the family that manages it are the kindest people, we felt super welcomed as soon as we arrived and they received us with a very tasty juice. Sadly only stayed one night there but if I go back to Sri Lanka I would definitely want to stay in Parrot Paradise way longer ❤️
