This is a wonderful accommodation and very friendly owners. Breakfast was luxurious and everything else is much better than expected. This house is more suitable for the reception of kings, the real palace!

We loved this place. The facilities were perfectly clean and the bed was very confortable. You also have a living room with sofa. The breakfast and the dinner were very good quality meals and very tasty. The staff even served us early so that we could leave for the day, they were very friendly and answering our questions and requests. We felt very welcomed. The owner was not here himself at this moment, however he always made himself present during the whole stay by whatsapp and was able to answer all our questions. He is a wildlife photographer so feel free to ask him if you are also interested in spotting fauna!! You can rent a scooter to the homestay. Thanks to the owner recommandations, we went to Dotalugala to hike a bit, and the view to get there during the scooter ride was magnificent. In a sunny days you can see the mountains. Always propre a raincoat as the weather changes unexpectedly. If you are brave enough, you can drive 3h to visit the village of Meemure, at the end of that same road. Driving there is so beautiful that time flies. It is easy to come from Kandy, go to the bus station and ask for Wegala, the destination is usually Hunnasgiriya or further.

The view onto the river is unbeatable and the apartment offers all equipment needed. The place was really clean and the surrounding is calm and relaxing. Also the communication with the host was always friendly and the owners were really helpful. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a calm place to stay, but still close enough to explore Kandy.

All food is locally and organically sourced, adding to the authenticity of the experience. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner, who shared his vision with great passion and pride, making us appreciate the concept even more. The retreat is located in the breathtaking Knuckles Mountain Range, near Kandy. The untouched nature makes it a perfect destination for stunning hikes, which are thoughtfully organized by the team. Along the trails, you can discover hidden waterfalls and encounter unique endemic wildlife. Lastly, we must highlight the outstanding service and incredible food. The staff goes the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable. The meals are amazing because of the freshness of the ingredients and the dedication put into every dish. Getting there by private car was a challenge, google maps is simply not accurate. Best way is to contact resort before. The team is outstanding, booked only a day before and they managed to make us feel at home. Will come back for sure
