Lovely stay in an amazing spot overlooking Pokhara and the lake. A short walk to the Sarangkot view point and other walks along the ridge. Moti and his family were perfect hosts and lovely food. Would recommend to anyone keen for a few days away from the town hussle and bussle!

The village us in a beautiful spot with great views of Pokhara valley and the Annpura range to the front and lush jungle and rice terraces to the side and rear.The family embraced me from the second I said hello. Every one of them could not be more kind. The food was exceptional and plentiful. Ginger honey tea was offered regularly and was delicious. Guests ate taken on jungle walks, walks to swim in the waterfall etc One night we were treated to traditional song and dance with the local women ..( and raised some funds for a villager in need of dialysis)Throughout the village we were greeted with wide smiles , gentleness and curiosity. At our house there were buffalo and goats...including two kids who provided much entertainment bounding around!The family taught us how to cook, how they made ghee, how to separate rice from their husks etc with much hilarity.. I even took the opportunity to have a sound bath delivered higher in the village in a secluded cave...so relaxing. DInner where we all gathered in the small kitchen to share our food, chat with the family and get to know people from many different countries. Israel Singapore Hong Kong and UK in our case ..we had some great laughs too! I loved the views from the balcony watching the birds flying across the snow capped peaks. Peace personified. Thank you so much to all of you.

Club ES earned my exceptional rating during my 6-day Nepal tour, standing out as the best place I stayed. Nestled in the remote village of Kaskikot, a one hour drive from the bustling Pokhara city (They also provide Pickup & Drop Service), this small resort, managed by the only Sherpa family in the area, provided an unforgettable one-night and two-day experience. The owner, a seasoned mountain guide who has summited Everest and Annapurna I, adds a unique touch. While our expectations for facilities were modest, we were pleasantly surprised to find almost all essentials, including hot showers, an electric kettle, soap, room heater, and complimentary tea and coffee. The cozy rooms, situated in Tibetan-style huts, offer a breathtaking panoramic view of the Himalayas. Having trekked in the region before, I can vouch for the uniqueness of this vista. What sets Club ES apart is its authenticity; the family operates the resort entirely by themselves, creating a homely atmosphere. The absence of outside staff enhances the genuine experience. Even their pet dog, Pappu, contributes to the welcoming ambiance. The fresh, garden-sourced vegetarian meals surpassed our expectations. While there's no TV in the rooms & trust me you don't need a TV, well-built hiking routes from the resort provide great options for early-morning hikes.

Niraj is so lovely and accomodating, he organised for our washing to be picked up and all done within a day. The room is very comfortable, very clean and spacious. A big room and bathroom with a bath tub. Anything you need Niraj can help you. What a great place to stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Royal Orbit Resort, and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel warmly welcomed and cared for. The resort's atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, perfect for anyone looking to unwind and recharge. The rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with all the modern amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially loved the beautiful views from the balcony — waking up to such serene surroundings was a highlight. The resort's facilities, including the swimming pool and dining areas, were very well maintained. The food was delicious, offering a nice variety of dishes that catered to different tastes. Every meal felt like it was prepared with care. What stood out most was the genuine hospitality of the team. Sharing the subsistence farmer's lifestyle. Buffalo, goats, chicken, dog, cats. Many garden & tree crops. 3 room Bldg: Hom, his wife&son sleep in 1 room, you sleep in the 2d, with kitchen 3d. There is electricity & internet! Outbldg for primitive toilet &shower. Wood stove cooking shed. I LOVED it but it's not for the faint hearted. The hike up is VERY strenuous. If you want to experience real Nepali subsistence farming, this is the place!

Perfect location: set away from the main hustle and bustle of Pokhara but only 200m from taxi stand and Fewa Lake. Good sized rooms and restaurant on site was very good (small menu but all diets catered for). Breakfast very good (taste and cost, typically 300 Rs). Laundry service very efficient and good value (100 Rs pet kg). Helpful and cheerful staff. Great base for us: stayed 2 nights before our Mardi Himal trek and 2 nights afterwards. Great to come back to hot shower, good food and a warm welcome.
