Fantastic little camp, only 3 tents, a good distance into the dunes. Layout of the camp is very clever and you do feel all alone when looking out of the tent, lots of privacy. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom is v modern with soaps etc. Note the shower is cold (as you would expect!) Dinner and breakfast was great. We did dune bashing which was lots of fun. It's pretty easy to drive in a 4WD to the camp, and fun too.

Perfect desert experience, highly recommended if you want an authentic stay in middle of the dunes. The team was really caring and made our stay very special! We would definitely come back! Thank you Royal desert camp team!

Very nice accomodation with location near sand dunes. We had two big rooms with toilets and shower, outside was swimming pool and very nice outdoor seating.

The camp is very nice. The location in the middle of desert. Bader was an excellent host. He took us in a nice experience crossing the sand and rode camels. The breakfast was delicious and we ordered dinner and his mother cooked it and it was very delicious. The atmosphere in the camp is family and comfortable. The room is clean and comfy.

Amazing place ! Quiet and peaceful. The staff is very kind and is helpful to match your needs. Drive in the desert is very easy for any 4x4. Skilled drivers might be able to reach with 2WD as well. The room is super clean and equipped with the basics. Very nice place overall. No wifi but you receive 4G network on your phone easily since antena is very close by.

Our stay at Sunset Domes Premium was the highlight of our trip. We truly enjoyed our time. Being there felt like a refreshing break from the outside world. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was warm and cozy. Most importantly, our host Ali was wonderful and really embodied the true Omani spirit. We highly recommend it.

Nice camp and we did some activities and we had the camp owner Issa himself accompany us with the sunset from the top of the sand and we enjoyed driving Issa he was cooperative with us and a very nice person I recommend visiting the camp and doing the activities there and we saw the little camels and thank you

Amazing experience in the desert. The rooms are very comfortable with A/C, nice beds, a small but clean bath and an amazing atmosphere. We had dinner at the common room and a great breakfast at our dome. The kids were happy to play around and very amused by the occasional visit of camels.

The place and location and the hospitality of the host and staff

​Staying at this hotel felt like living in the beautiful old Oman era. I absolutely loved the authentic design featuring charming details like wooden roofs, lumber beds, stone sinks, magnificent log reception desk and the massive Castle in the middle. ​The hospitality was just as impressive. The staff were incredibly polite, and the reception was open 24 hours, making us feel very cared for. The cafe serves high-quality coffee, I particularly loved the Cappuccino and Mocha. ​Breakfast was exceptionally tasty with very fast servicel. I highly recommend ordering the Omani tray it was delicious.
