What a unique spot to experience the desert. Surrounded by dunes, in a very confortable, clean tent, with all the privacy you could want. And if you needed anything, the genuinly friendly staff is there to help. We were greeted by Issa, who is very welcoming and shows great hospitality.

The room was beautiful and super comfortable, with everything we needed. We received such a warm welcome; we honestly felt more at home than in a hotel. Communication was great, and the breakfast was spectacular. For the price, I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. In terms of value for money, I’d say it’s the best option in Muscat. Very special accommodation awaited us here, namely the Koofan Heritage House. This is a 150-year-old clay and stone house that has been carefully restored by the owner family. In the individual rooms, you will find numerous original artefacts and pieces of furniture belonging to the family from earlier times, which are beautifully displayed here. The house has 12 individually furnished rooms, a small souvenir shop, a café, a tour desk and a small museum. But the whole house is actually a kind of "open-air museum".
While most visitors only come for the museum (admission 1 rial), we definitely recommend at least one overnight stay. A small, traditional breakfast is served in the morning. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to provide guests with an exceptional experience. The accommodation is just 25 minutes from Wadi Darbat and only 5 minutes from the sea. An absolute recommendation!

Amazing hotel, staff very polite and extremely helpful, food was delicious. It has two swimming pools, one is infinity pool with sea view. Hotel is very clean and it is obvious that is very well maintained. Rooms are spacious, big king size bed was a dream.

This place is so beautiful. The garden created such relaxing atmosphere. The playground was the highlight for our kids.
The bed was comfortable and we got an additional mattress too. The staff was really helpful.
There was quite a space in the back yard to hang our laundry.
We drove to the nearby sand dune in the evening. The view was fantastic and there was enough sand for the kids.

The kindness of staff is brilliant. They are there for whatever your needs are always. We stayed with baby and they were taking care of everything we needed for her. They have facilities for children and outside space.
