It is an inviting, spacious, hospitable place to stay with excellent facilities - kitchen especially but in truth, all rooms. Location - 15 mins taxi Palaly Int Airport; 5 mins drive Inuvil railway station; 10/15 mins drive Jaffna; 5 mins drive Chunnakam. The actual physical location is attractive in its serenity. Its located in a quiet lane on Manipay Road overlooking agricultural land owned/rented by smallholders. Noise and external interference is absolutely minimal.

One of the cleanest and most comfortable places we stayed during our travels around Sri Lanka. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and polite, making us feel right at home. The room was spacious with comfortable bed. Sri Lankan breakfast was absolutely delicious. We also appreciated having access to the kitchen fridge and the reliable Wi-Fi. Jaffna turned out to be an unexpected highlight of our trip — such a hidden gem! Highly recommended!

This was such an enjoyable stay, the staff became our away from home family, talking with us and making us feel so welcome. A big shout out to front of house Lucksheeta and Sanjeeva (sorry if spelling is wrong) and wait staff Pradikshan and Scoti who quickly became familiar with our preferences and had good fun chats with us. Friendly team lead by wonderful manager who made a point of introducing himself (& for the life of me I can't remember his name sorry!!) The hotel was much better than I was expecting with high quality fit out and absolutely beautiful pool. Fox Jaffna is a very polished boutique hotel. The food was also delicious and varied. Recommended! Location, push bikes to use, museum and art gallery were added bonus.

Amazing, generous, friendly family, who couldn't do enough for you. New Hugh clean house, with use of washing of machine and fridge freezer.. Lots of bedrooms, kitchen and loungue plus outdoor space. Nice quiet area, but only a short tuktuk ride to Point Pedro where you will find plenty eating establishments, shops, and ATMs. The family implied you can get takeaway delivered to the property. There is an inside and outside dining area. The house is situated in the family compound, so it felt very safe and safe parking. We will definitely stay again. Emma and Harry

The small hotel went out of the way to organise our trip to delft island, and gave us all the different prices on how to get there. They also ordered our food, did our laundry, nothing was too much trouble for them. The garden was lovely and large with room to park our tuktuk in. Highly impressed with the place.

Only hostel in Jaffna so good place to stay if you want to meet another travelers. Tours can be made from the hostel. Good central location just round the corner from one of the best local restaurants in town.
