Sea Sand Resort dispone de jardín, terraza, restaurante y bar en Kalpitiya. My bungalow was spotless and very comfortable. The aircon and WiFi were great. The food in the restaurant was really good and all cooked fresh to order. The hosts were also very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay in Kalpitiya!

Ceylon Resort está en Wilpattu, a 36 km de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank, y dispone de alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. Personal increible, super agradables, atentos, muy cercanos, parecia como si estubieses en casa. El sitio es precioso. Se lo recomendaria a toda persona que vaya a la zona del wilpattu, es imposible que haya un sitio mejor. Eternamente agradecidos tanto a la familia como al personal. Repetiria siempre.

El Kitelantis ofrece alojamiento frente a la laguna en Kalpitiya. El establecimiento cuenta con instalaciones para practicar deportes acuáticos y piscina al aire libre. Las instalaciones son perfectas para relajarse, con tumbonas y hamacas al lado de la piscina y también ofrecen excursiones. La comida era rica y nos lo prepararon sin picante para nuestra hija, cenamos dos veces allí mismo. Sobre todo en el restaurante, el trato fue muy bueno. La habitación era enorme y el baño en el exterior nos hizo sentir en el paraíso.

Surfpoint Sri Lanka Kite Village está en Kalpitiya, a pocos pasos de Playa de Kudawa, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, zona de playa privada y salón de uso común. Right at the beach. Perfect location if you want to do some kitesurfing. You can do a downwinder home ;-) Food was delicious, room was clean and big with AC and a fan. Laundry Service. and whatever you ask for… We stayed here for 7 nights and my friend took some kitesurfing lessons. Shawn is a great teacher and also the rest of the crew were super friendly, welcoming and took good care of us. We also left the kitebag at the place to continue our travels and got it sent back to Colombo (for a fee) however what a service :) All in all, we were very satisfied and had an amazing week! El Anawasal ofrece alojamiento frente a la laguna y clases de yoga en Kalpitiya. Se facilita aparcamiento privado gratuito. Everything was superb! Dinesh, Shibi and all the team were a great hosts! We appreciated our bungalow, foods, yoga sessions, pool and a trip to the jungle. Great experience, we highly recommend this beautiful place!

The place itself is incredibly beautiful, set right on the serene lagoon, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere throughout our entire stay. The service was exceptional—every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. They were attentive, friendly, and consistently made us feel genuinely welcomed. One of the highlights of our stay was the food prepared by their amazing chef. After dining at several restaurants in the area, I can confidently say that none matched the quality, taste, or presentation of the meals we enjoyed at Villa Sethawadi. Each dish was expertly crafted, delicious, and beautifully presented. The pool area was inviting and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventures. For kite and windsurfing enthusiasts, Villa Sethawadi is ideally located, allowing easy access directly from the property to the lagoon. A word of caution though—be mindful of the sharp thorns around the area, or better yet, use the hotel's own kite school service, which conveniently takes you by boat to the prime surfing spots on the other side of the lagoon. Overall, our stay at Villa Sethawadi was exceptional. Highly recommended!

We're so grateful for the extra care they showed us throughout our stay.

Skykite Resort & Hostel Kalpitiya Sri Lanka se encuentra en Kalpitiya, a 2,7 km de Playa de Kudawa, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. The name of this hostel truly reflects the place—it is a paradise. It’s a pity this location isn’t more frequented because it’s a fantastic spot, surrounded by coconut palms and charming huts. The owner, Malik, is an excellent host who speaks perfect English and goes out of his way to make guests feel comfortable. Since there were only four of us staying, he generously offered each of us a private room for the same price as a dormitory bed. The beds are equipped with mosquito nets, and they also provide towels, which adds to the comfort of the stay. Breakfast is included, and they offer a restaurant service for lunch and dinner. Additionally, they can arrange various activities in the area. While recent storms have damaged some facilities and the access road—possibly explaining the lower number of visitors—the place remains well-maintained, clean, and conveniently close to both the beach and Kalpitiya Dutch Fort. Day and night, this place offers the perfect tranquility to disconnect from the world and relax. The restaurant terrace has board games, books, and even a lovely cat to keep you company. I highly recommend this hostel—it’s affordable, well-managed, and offers excellent service.
