Tribal Village in Trincomale was our first stop in Sri Lanka, and it was the perfect way to start our trip. The location is beautiful : you can easily walk everywhere you need, and the beach is just a short distance away. The place is very new, and the cabanas are clean, cozy and private. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. They always made sure we had everything we needed: even when we weren’t feeling well or had questions about the area. Their suggestions were always spot on( scuba diving) ! Breakfast was delicious, with several great options to choose from. They were so generous, always making sure we had enough food and drinks, even offering extras with a smile. What really stood out to us was the warmth of the people here. Nothing to put your luggage on in the room but I’m sure the owner will provide for everything in the future , the guesthouse is brand new and had just opened around the 1st of August . It’s located 10 mn from the beach . There are several little restaurants in the area. “ Seafood restaurant “ at the end of the street is a good one . The beach is natural , no club, no loud music , it’s beautiful you can find some mat to relax at the little restaurant on the beach .

Kind of nice to have things like, a small tables in rooms, furniture arrangement (in the rooms). Overall, it's 10/10. 😀

Very nice host – I felt very welcome during my stay. The breakfast was amazing, and the tour to Pigeon Island that Nimal arranged was fantastic. He also took me to watch the sunset by the lagoon and even let me drive his tuk-tuk, which was such a fun experience! When I couldn’t find accommodation for the next night, he cleared out a private room and kindly let me stay there. Truly generous and thoughtful – I really appreciated everything!
