My sister and I had an incredible stay at Atana Bidiyah private and highly recommend it and the owners to anyone looking for a Wahiba desert experience that is filled with calm, connection and a deep respect for the desert and ecosystem. The owners are excellent fun and wonderful hosts - the camp may be new yet they have grown up with their families in Bidiyah. Their knowledge, stories, connection and respect for Wahiba is admirable and deeply fascinating. Atana offers delicious dinner options, snacks, Omani breakfast, a dune top 4x4 tour and transfer pick up from Bidiyah if needed. From the moment I contacted them on Instagram and the kindness they showed me, I knew I was in for a treat! Arriving around 4pm, there’s time to settle into your tent, take in some Omani coffee and breathe in the serenity that engulfs you. An incredible sunset tour on the dunes with safe and experienced driving and a visit to the natural well that provides water for the camel and goat herders (your only neighbours), as well as the camp, and watching the sun kiss the land before descending back for dinner - the best BBQ I have had in Oman these past 6 years! And then the stars came out and wow! Ayla is located away from other camps, uses solar power, and is located not too deep into Wahiba - making it accessible, wonderfully quiet and with no light pollution. And just when you think you’ve experienced it all and climb into bed smiling and full of joy - the afternoon sun has kindly warmed your bed and the high-quality, high-thread cotton offers a warm hug on the cool evening for the best night’s sleep. Sunrise brings more discovery as the birds, goats, camels awaken and start their day around you. Snuggled up with a hot drink watching the world wake up in this vast stillness. Lifetime memories were made and I am thankful to the team at Atana for taking such great care of me and my sister. Definitely recommended.

Το Royal desert camp διαθέτει καταλύματα σε Al Raka. Το προσωπικό στην 24ωρη ρεσεψιόν μιλάει Αραβικά και Αγγλικά. Clean and friendly staff, the night sky was incredible! We could see the whole milkyway! Wow! Great location!

Secluded camp with a small number of tents. Bathrooms and tents are very comfortable. Feels very rustic. Hosts are kind, humble and very helpful. Communication via WhatsApp was excellent. Location is perfect among the dunes. Dinner and breakfast were tasty. Wildlife was everywhere

The accommodations were not only comfortable but also thoughtfully designed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and authenticity. What truly stood out, though, was the team’s expertise in curating unforgettable desert experiences. I still remember the aroma of the zaatar ☕️ tea. Το Nomad inn Tiwi σε Ḩillat al Ḩişn διαθέτει εξωτερική πισίνα και βεράντα. Το κατάλυμα παρέχει υπηρεσία δωματίου και υπηρεσία φύλαξης αποσκευών για τους επισκέπτες. Very friendly staff, great location, close to both Wadi Shab and Wadi Tiwi, great vibe, cozy room . Cudos to Farhan and the team, thanks for great service!

To Desert waves camp είναι σε Badīyah, σε Al Sharqiyah, και διαθέτει καταλύματα με δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. Το αεροδρόμιο Διεθνές Αεροδρόμιο Μουσκάτ είναι 199 χλμ μακριά από το κατάλυμα. Nice small scale camp in the desert, only 6 tents. Very nice staff providing good service and friendly host. It is very magical to walk up the dunes and look at the sunset or sunrise. We enjoyed it very much, thank you! It might be good to know that pick up can be arranged for an extra charge from a meetingpoint (we were glad we did this as there are no signs to the camp). Also the dinner is not included in the price, however the food was very nice, so recommended!

Το Moon Light Camp είναι στον προορισμό Bidiyah. Μερικές μονάδες έχουν χώρο καθιστικού ή/και βεράντα. Such a special stay. Communication was brilliant and friendly, pick up was easy (Mintrab castle, 5 rial/car) would recommend as the drive was amazing and great to chat and take pics. Dinner was delicious (5 rial pp). Lots of activities to choose from, but we just relaxed and soaked it all in. A fire to end the evening. A quick note, we came after a rare bout of bad weather, but big thanks to the team for communication and helping us plan our trip. We also couldn’t believe how clean everything was, especially after the rain!

From the first greet with Muhammad to the drive back to our car. We were treated exemplarly and the guys made us feel like home. Even though it was our first desert experience. We totally recommend them! We booked the dinner and it was a buffet which they already told us before booking it. It was plenty of food and so delicious. The bed was so comfy and everything was clean. Thank you very much for your hospitality. 🙏🏽

Το Salem Fish Guest House παρέχει καταλύματα με εστιατόριο, κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge και βεράντα, ενώ το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Al Hadd απέχει 2,5 χλμ. We had the most wonderful stay with Salem. We immediately felt welcome and at home through Salem and Sanoos’s amazing hospitality - from constantly offering us chai and coffee to helping us with our laundry (which was so above and beyond - thank you Sanoos). Salem took us to the beach our first night which ended up being a magical experience - fishing for huge tuna out of the back of his boat with his brother, Walid, at sunset. We had the BBQ dinner with the fish we caught (must do) which was the freshest fish we’ve ever eaten! The next day, we had such an amazing time snorkeling with turtles (it was unbelievable), spotting them in the sea, and swimming in a calm cove. Easily one of our favorite experiences in Oman and our best stay in Oman. We will be back! Shokran, Salem!
