This place is truly a hidden gem! I stayed 3 days 2 nights, wish I can stay longer. What makes this place so special are the staff. From the manager (pick up me at the town and send to the resort by boat), the boatman, local guide, chef, helper and all in the resort. This resort strategic location is perfect who love quiteness and really into the nature. Trust me once you are here you dont feel like to leave. It’s a budget resort on a small island, but rooms are clean and staff is great. You won’t have flush in the toilets and electricity in the room (only available at the restaurant), Wi-Fi is unstable, but who cares - this is a place to chill for some day and disconnect. They prepare good food for a reasonable price (10-30k ugx) and help to arrange boat tours and other activities (a bit expensive).

Nice, ambient place, atmospheric restaurant with the lake-view terrace. Staff is friendly and attentive. There are 2 big, cute dogs and a cat hanging out around, which were a special attraction for our kid.

Staff went above and beyond - manager took me on a day tour of Lake Bunyonyi himself and also arranged my transport across the border to Ruhengiri in Rwanda. Super helpful! Restaurant is well priced and good food as well and the grounds are super nice and relaxing
