My stay at this hostel in Canmore was absolutely perfect. From the moment I arrived, the receptionists were super friendly and helpful – they made me feel right at home. They also gave me great tips on nearby hikes and local spots to eat (definitely ask them if you're not sure where to start!). The bed was really comfortable – perfect after a full day of outdoor adventures. But the best part? The views. I had a room with a window facing the mountains and waking up to that scenery each morning was just breathtaking. If you can, try to get a room with mountain views – it adds something really special to the experience. The hostel was clean, cozy, and had a relaxed vibe that made it easy to meet other travelers. Plus, it’s in a great location – close to the town center and with easy access to amazing trails. I’d absolutely stay here again next time I’m in Canmore. It’s a great base whether you're into hiking, skiing, or just relaxing and soaking in the views. Highly recommend!

It was just a perfect stay. The house is beautiful, very cozy and homey. It has everything you need. But the most important part of our stay was the hosts Annie and Bryan - they are the kindest people we’ve met in Canada. Every morning we started with an amazingly delicious breakfast and the chat with the owners. They borrowed us the spikes (and even warm socks) as it was snowy and icy during our stay. They gave us many advices on the things to do. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

This review is part of a big road trip we planned around British Columbia and Alberta – flying in from Australia and renting a car, for the trip of our lifetime so far. We put a huge amount of time, energy and expense in planning the whole trip. As Aussies, we just want to say Canada is amazing. Just beautiful. It was worth every bit of planning and expense we put it into for so very long. Be proud Canada – what a beautiful place you live in! So, in that context, here is this review: Stoneridge Mountain Resort was a highlight of our whole trip. We stayed there for four nights and used it as our base for visiting Banff and the surrounding area. By the time we left we were truly sad to leave. The room was large, clean, very well equipped, and so very comfortable. We enjoyed using the gym, pool and spa in between activities and day trips. Words fail just how good this stay was.

Great location, easy access to anywhere in downtown Canmore. The accommodations are gorgeous. There is plenty of space for everyone. The beds are very comfortable, including the pull out couch. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the basics you need, including to use the grillbout on the balcony.

Location is ideal, walking distance to everything as it’s downtown. Mountain View from the hot tub is amazing. We got a room in the bottom floor which was great as it’s a 3 story walk up. Very nice room, well furnished and comfortable.

What a fabulous place to stay as a base for exploring the Rockies. The apartment (308A) was just what we needed and a lovely place to come back to after a busy day hiking and exploring! Lots of space, spotlessly clean, well equipped, lovely balcony with bbq and amazing views. In a great location with restaurants, shops and bars close by and easy to access. There were good supplies provided too such as dishwasher tablets, washing powder etc. Cannot recommend this place enough.

The suites were really very nice, spacious, with mountain views, fireplaces, equipped kitchens, spa bathtubs, as advertised. Also the pool complexe was amazing. The location was safe and practical, close to restaurants and grocery stores. Also a pleasant walk to trails along the river and downtown. What we really appreciated was that the suites we requested were across the hall from/ or next to each other. So our family get together with relatives from Toronto, Houston and California was just perfect! For that we thank the staff.

I loved having a little patio even though it was too cold to use it. I had a nice electric fireplace and the bathroom had heated floors. The soaking tub was amazing and so was the water pressure for the shower. It's in a great location it was easy to get to and easy to get to downtown and the highway.
