Beautiful hostel up in the mountains. You need to take a moto taxi or 4WD to access the accommodation. One of the staff spoke English and was extremely helpful, providing information on the hostel and how runs. The lodges are comfortable with charging points, and a view. There are multiple shared bathrooms. There hostel provides meals with multiple options

It's probably the best place to stay you can find in/around Minca! Leon is the most attentive (english speaking) host, making sure you have everthing you need and Alex and his brother live close by and can help if needed. The two cabins are perfect and equipped with everthing you can think of, from shampoo & conditioner (!), hot water, games, binoculars, books, flashlights, strong fans in every room, a generator (if electricity goes out like when we wete there) to Netflix and not one, but two strong Wifi-networks. Additionally the balcony is pretty big and has a fantastic view and you even have a view point a bit further up, where you can watch sunsets or Santa Marta at night.

I was in doubt when I found out how far from Minca this location is (from Minca bus terminal 45min by moto) but it was one of the best decisions and favorite stays in Colombia! Staff was very kind (Doris and two girls on their workaway, thank you for everything!), I was lucky enough that on the 1th night I was the only one in the dorm (which btw offers amazing view over Sierra Nevada!), food was really good, place is quite,... so make sure you will come for more than one night :)

EVERYTHING WAS NICE! The pod was super comfortable and nicely furnished. The fact that you could see sun up and/or sun down from either your: terrace, jacuzzi or bed was incredible. It is a coffee plantation, so you are surrounded by nature and coffee fields. Good place to write a book, no distractions.

We had a very warm welcome from Aura. She was very helpful, always available and flexible. The rooms were very clean, it's one of the nicest hostels we've been to in Colombia, with hammocks, a beautiful terrace for breakfast (and lots of colibries) and even a rooftop where you have a view on the mountains and Santa Marta. For a good price you can have breakfast (fresh fruit, yummy pancakes and eggs), coffee and tea are always available. I think they can also provide lunch or dinner, just ask them. They can do your laundry for you. Location near the city centre, felt very safe, not noisy.

We have had an exceptional stay in the dome hut. The place is remotely located, only to be reached by 4x4 or mototaxi, but this is also what makes it special. We enjoyed a jacuzzi under the starry sky only to be followed by a bonfire - all right in front of our dome hut. The sun rises right in front as well - no need even to get up to enjoy it right from the comfy bed. This place is a hidden gem and abaolutely marvelous. The pictures speak for itself.

A super location surrounded by nature with fantastic views. The family are very welcoming, helpful and friendly - always eager to please and available for any questions or help when needed. Breakfast is basic but adequate. Coffee is also always available! You can use the facilities of the adjacent hotel (Colours of the Sierra) as it’s owned by the same family and includes a restaurant, additional viewpoints, a natural pool and a waterfall you can visit.

Amazing location and views - including from the lovely swimming pool! Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of hammocks and comfortable spaces for relaxing. Peaceful and surrounded by nature with very nice local walks. Visits to indigenous village and coffee/cacao farm were lovely. We enjoyed the meals and chatting to others at the long dining room tables. Beautiful sunsets with delicious pina coladas!

Beautiful location, amazing sunsets over the jungle and pool. Local coffee plantation offers cheap tours and easy to get to from a little direct path. 11 person dorm is one of the best, single beds and spread out.

The owners are so friendly and helpful. They let me leave my bag there for the day after I had checked out because my flight didn't leave until night. It's also a great location. Close enough to the centre of town that it is a short easy walk, but not right in the centre so that it is too noisy. They also have some very cute and friendly dogs and cats! Nice quiet common area to relax or get some work done.

Great location in the centre of town. Basic but comfortable & clean. Has a large fan in the double room. Diego was very kind & helpful. Balcony has 2 hammocks and comfortable chairs & tables. Eggs, toast & coffee included for breakfast made the value great.

This is a beautifully equipped lodge set above Minca in a tranquil location. Everything about it was designed so that we could enjoy the natural light and surrounding environment. The air conditioning was very efficient and there was plenty of hot water. We could walk to a cafe and chocolate finca and also a small waterfall for bathing. The owners are very helpful and provided breakfast from their bird observatory which was a lovely 5 min walk away. If you want peace and a bit of luxury living, this is the place.

The location is a 15 min walk into town but it's in the nature and we loved the greenery around the area. The view from the terrace is nice too. The bed was big and comfortable and the room had air conditioning.

The staff were all very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The location of the hotel was also good and we had a great view from our room. The food tasted great and was reasonably priced and the portions were very large.
