Josie is the best receptionist in the world. I’ve never met someone who enjoys her job as much as Josie! The restaurant and his staff were incredible and the guys parking the car were very efficient. The barmen were super attentive and the drinks were great.

Starace House Primo Piano is located in the center of Vico Equense, very close to the train station on the Campania Express line. The location allows for convenient access to places such as Naples, Pompeii, and Sorrento. In the town, you will find many restaurants, cafes, and shops, and on Saturdays, there is a local market. The property is run by nuns who prepare a delicious daily breakfast served buffet-style in the dining room. For breakfast, you can enjoy Italian ham, cheese, homemade cake, croissants, homemade bread, coffee, tea, as well as fruits and yogurt. The rooms are cleaned daily. Hairdryers with Italian plug adapters are available at the reception. Quiet hours are observed from 10 PM, and each guest receives keys to the gate and the front door. The city tax is collected in cash. The Credit Agricole bank with an ATM is very close, located on Piazza Umberto I. You can park your car on the street, but on Saturdays, the nuns inform you to move it to a private courtyard to avoid fines from the police, as the local market takes place on nearby streets. I recommend choosing rooms with a garden view, if possible. Unfortunately, I had a room facing the street. The windows are not well soundproofed, and Italians ride scooters and honk late into the night, greeting each other and so on. It’s part of the Italian vibe, but you get used to it quickly.

The property terracce view was really nice, especially the sunset view for the sea & Vesuvius. Also has a rooftop terrace with sunbeds for comfort. Kevin (host) is really nice and helpful with recommendations in the area too. Property was also clean.

We spent two nights in this hotel. Even though the weather was not the warmest we didn’t mind since they had terrace heaters at the rooftop bar. The cocktails were perfect, the view is magnific. We tried their restaurant, the food was really tasty. The staff is supernice. The rooms were clean. For us being 15 min from Sorrento by car was a plus,nice view, nice people without the crowd. The overall quality and the service was above our expectations.

We spent our holiday at Palazzo Murrano for the second time and it is still the best! Vico Equense is really picturesque, we could not imagine a more beautiful place to spend some time during summer. The hotel's private beach, Murrano Mare is the best beach we have ever been to! The hotel, the rooms, the breakfast are really wonderful and you could not ask for a better staff! Alfonso is our long time friend, we hope that we will see him again!
