The bay view rooms offer stunning views of the ocean and are very spacious complete with all amenities. Special mention must be made of the excellent food at every meal. I stayed there for my first 2 nights and it was the best choice. Hotel just after the renovation, big and clean rooms. The hospitality of the owners is amazing. 5 min walk distance to the beach (no people only palm trees - like in paradise). You have to try food because it's a very good one. Good vibe of the place.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with all the essentials I needed—comfortable bed, fresh linens, and good air conditioning. What really stood out was the staff. They were polite, welcoming, and always ready to help with directions and local recommendations. The location was also very convenient. For the price I paid, the value was outstanding. I felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout my stay. This is truly a hidden gem. If you book Dinesh's place you will get what is in the photos but at the same time you will get sooooo much more that can't be captured by a camera. You get the honor of being accepted by a local Sri Lankan family as one of their own. This warm hearted family will go to extra lengths to make you feel like in a home away and hard to leave :-). Compared to tourist hot spots in Sri Lanka, Dinuli is offering a unique experience at a reasonable price. Bottom line is if you are after something authentic this is a place for you and not a hotel with 24 hour service. Apart from accommodation, beach is amazing and for a change you can actually swim without being slammed by huge waves. They are manageable. You will not make a mistake if you book Dinuli. Thanks Dinesh and Tatta and whole family for a wonderful stay!

Villa 42 is, in short a hidden gem. For anyone looking for comfort, privacy and wonderful hospitality they won't get any better than this lovely villa just half a mile or so from gorgeous (mostly empty) beaches and several decent restaurants (ask Siri for recommendations). Siri will provide his pampered guests with the best of breakfasts adapting tp personal taste (Sri Lankan style or to more western taste). Siri's well maintained swimming pool will be your refreshing reward after a few hours of Sri Lankan heat.

Ocean pearl Cottage is a place where you can feel right at home. The owners do everything possible to fulfil your needs and wishes, may it be for meals or drinks or organisation of trips. The Place is very quiet, clean and located in a Small Street just a Couple of Minutes walk away from the Ocean. the Beach is amazingly clean, long and has a Turtle Conservation project close by. I really enjoyed staying in Ahungalla at Oceans pearl for a couple of days and will definitely be back.

Wow! what an incredible nice family who runs the place! we felt so welcomed here :) the room was spotless clean and very spacious & bathroom was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and tasty most foods had it. we loved to relax on the outdoor balcony and here the birds singing, overlooking a very calm neighborhood. we also absolutely loved the short walk to the beach, we met many sweet locals on the way, there are restaurants and a long beach - and there is a corner shop which provides everything you’ll need :) the wifi was the fastet and best we had so far! it’s a 10/10 - highly recommend to stay here! thank you so much Ramesh and his family for everything! We will come back again that place to stay longtime.

Nilnara Villa was absolutely stunning, spacious, clean and cozy place to stay a few or even more days! It is located a bit away from the (urban) noise with a nice beach (great pool!) but at the same time very close (by tuk tuk/motorbike) to the near villages/cities. The stuff was always there for us and helped in any ways (even took us to the airport) and even the chef cooked us wonderful meals. Our favourite stays in Sri Lanka! Thank you so much!

The most amazing location right on the beach front. We loved staying so close to nature. The host Barbara was amazing and no request was too much trouble. She arranged a special dinner for us on the beach to celebrate our engagement. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. If we’re ever in Sri Lanka again we’ll be coming back for sure!

The location is unbeatable - set amongst the trees just steps from a stunning unspoilt beach. The staff are welcoming and Barbara makes you feel very much at home and helps out with whatever you need. Food was great! Massages amazing! Walkable to the turtle conversation place where we released baby turtles into the sea (go at 5.30 for this.)

It's an amazing place to stay for a short or a long trip! Quiet and remote...not many people around. The Villa's location is amazing and the staff is extremely helpful and nice. They go out of their way to help you.

One of the best, or probably the best beach front property I have been to in down south Sri Lanka. Everything was exceptional from the point we stepped into the property. Starting with the location, to the rooms, food, hospitality, facilities, luxury, everything was AMAZING! The Operation Manager, F&B Manager, all the waiters and room boys made sure the stay was 100%. Such humble people with great hospitality. Kudos to the whole team, will definitely come back soon.

The location is amazing ! it’s right at the beach and really well mantained. We stayed in the ac room over the kitchen and the room was super clean, really comfortable and well decorated. Barbara, the owner, was really helpful and really sweet to us. We can totally recommend to stay here

Proximity to the beaches is great. It is a very quiet location despite large beach nearby but peacefully relaxing Inn Sea Horizon beautiful friendly family with great stories to tell (Silva) and great breakfasts served up. Accommodation is clean comfortable and has everything you need

Beautiful cabins, friendly staff and wonderful location. This is the best place in the area so don't bother looking anywhere else. Food was excellent and they accommodated our vegan diet very well.
