A fantastic place right by the ocean. The hotel staff, along with the hotel manager and the hotel's four-paw manager, made us feel right at home from the very moment our car pulled up to the entrance. The attention to detail was unprecedented, and the small touches everywhere continued to surprise us, even after a few days.

Excellent rating overall! Supun/Mel and the lovely staff are doing a fabulous job as hosts of Amaroo! By far the best accomodation we could have imagined for our style - its the place to be in Hikka! Cool vibes! Perfect location as well (beachfront, surfspot, restos/bars, atm in front). Everyday changing breakfast is a dream, and so is the restaurants food menue! Surfguidings and boards were on a super good level. AND: Getting up in the morning, receiving the loveliest „good morning“ every day by Harsh followed by instant serving of fresh coffee with the brightest smile you could imagine made every day from the first minute a really good one! Definitely coming back one day 😎

The hotel is located right on the beach, not far from Galle, and from the rooms you can have a panoramic view of the vast beach in Hikkaduwa. The rooms are spacious and equipped with smart home appliances, a kitchen, an oven, tableware, and all the necessary facilities. The food served at the hotel is particularly outstanding and delicious! It was the best meal I've ever had in Sri Lanka! The hotel staff are very friendly! We had a great time in Hikkaduwa!

I stayed only one night, but I wish I found this place little earlier and was able to book this for one or two weeks, because I think it is great spot for long stays. The shared kitchen was also clean and great because I could cook myselfs.

Temptation was such a gorgeous hotel, the pictures don’t even do it justice. The rooms were so nice and the whole place was spotless with housekeeping every day. It’s in a great location too close to everything. Would highly recommend and it’s very reasonable for what you get 😃

Situated right on the beachfront, it's perfect for soaking in the sea breeze. Traveling as a group of five girls, safety was a priority, and we felt completely secure here. The presence of a gym on-site was a plus, although it tended to be busy. Overall, a great place to stay with a vibrant atmosphere.

Very nice hotel right beside the beach with an onsite restaurant. The staff were very nice and helpful and overall it is a perfect place to stay right at the beach. Also the hotel is located in more quiet area of Hikkaduwa but many shops and restaurants are very close.

Great location and value for money! The beach is extremely clean in front of the Villa and the Villa itself is quite beautiful. Had a wonderful time staying here. Nirasha, the property owner, helped us with transport from the airport and was a lovely host! The property is 10 mins from Hikkaduwa centre. Tuk tuks are easily available from the main road to the city centre.

Nice, clean and affordable place to stay. The pool was refreshing and clean. They have Thambili cafe on the other side of the street (less than 5 min walk) where we bought breakfast every morning. Easy and quick walk to the beach - although you have to cross the busy street before you get there. Good location to do excursions from.

One of the best places I've stayed at in Sri Laka. Even better than the photos suggest. Wonderfully spacious room with comfy bed, fridge and air con. The host is a lovely person and interesting to talk to about Buddhism, local politics, the tsunami and his cinnamon farm over a tasty breakfast that can be prepared on request. Away from the main buzy drag and set in beautifully maintained gardens, but also super close to the beach and coral sanctuary. The perfect place to stay in Hikkaduwa. Highly recommended.

Perfect place to stay. The room I had was clean and the bed was comfy, I especially liked that there was AC as well as a fan, and a fridge to keep my water in. I was working while here and the Wi-Fi was good and I had a desk to work from. The beach is literally across the road and everything you need is in walking distance. The best thing about the stay though has to be Chandine the host, she is the most lovely lady. Really friendly and generous and she made it feel like I was staying with family.

Great location directly on the beach with private garden, beach and sunbeds. The hotel is located about 1 km from the city center what makes your stay even better. The rooms are with sea view. The staff very friendly. We were unexpectedly few hours before our scheduled check in and could still promptly get the room. Also because our flight back was late we could use the garden the whole day after check out and get the shower before leaving Hikkaduwa. The hotel has also own restaurant wirh very good sri lankan food, seefood, coctails.

A chic hotel with probably the best location. There are a lot of animals on the territory parrots, chipmunks and turtles. A great quiet backwater where you can swim even in the rain. The hotel has good delicious food, clean large very beautiful territory. Excellent rooms with everything you need and a magnificent view.
