The pool area looks absolutely beautifull. When we were here is felt a bit under cinstruction in certain areas but I’m sure it will be even better when they are all done. Comfy clean room with ac and free water 👍🏻👍🏻

I had a wonderful experience at Grand Silverray. The property is beautifully maintained, clean, and very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and well-designed, offering everything needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the overall service is truly impressive. Gem Fields Rest Hotel has got to be the most convenient hotel for anyone passing through or staying in Rathnapura. Whether you are travelling by car or public transport the hotel works well being just a short walk from the town centre. At the same time it is far enough away from the hubbub to feel calm, almost rural. Bhanu is a fabulous host who goes out of his way to ensure his guests enjoy their stay. Brilliant breakfasts which can be provided to personal taste are served on the lovely balcony overlooking the garden. Bhanu is a wealth of information on local sights and the Sri Lankan culture in general. For the gem aficianado he will point you in the right direction and alert you to the do's and don'ts of negotiation.

We made our booking late at night, and even at that hour, Malith was incredibly friendly and helpful. The owner was also very polite and accommodating. After making the reservation, I called to confirm and everything went smoothly. The room was perfect — very clean with fresh linens, and the overall atmosphere from check-in to check-out was superb. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend this place to others and return again ourselves.

The staff was so friendly and accomodating that it felt like staying at a friends place. We got a tour of all of their garden and got their help to visit 2 waterfalls! (The one right next to the lodge and the one 4 kilometers away). The food was also very tasty and served in large portions, so a big thank you to the kitchen staff aswel! Aside from the lodge we also took on the challenge of trying to reach Adams peak. We unfortunately didn't make it all the way (this side of the mountain has 11.000 steps), but we enjoyed the entire experience. Amazing views, some wild animals and we were completely alone the entire day due to it being off season. We would definitely recommend anyone to try to do Sri Pada off season.

The accommodation is clean, airy, convenient for visiting nearby places. The hotel owner cooks very well. Coming here, he also provides a tour service to visit the gemstone mine, which is very interesting. very good place to stay. I will come back here as soon as possible

Peaceful location but still easy access to the town. One of a few hotels working towards a European standard. Sampa Wayo Tourism are working hard to grow their reputation.

Location is really calm down and also close to the city. We ordered both Dinner and breakfast. It was nice and tasty. Also the friendlier service and gives like a homefeel. Overally its nice place to visit again.

Food was so good, both dinner and breakfast. The Indian cuisine was amazing so as the Indian chef (Mr. Singh) who made the food. Breakfast had a huge variety and totally worth the money. Location too is quite decent and rooms are clean and nice.

The location is remote feels like living in a forest reserve, so much bird song and local wildlife. Very peaceful. Food was superb. Staff welcomed you will a lovely fruit drink grown in garden. Early breakfast was excellent. The local wild swim pool was dry but there is a small concrete rustic pool at the bungalow excellent for a cooling dip
