My recent stay at Subaseth Villa was nothing short of magical. From the moment I stepped into the serene embrace of the jungle surroundings, I knew this experience would be unforgettable. The rooms at Subaseth Villa are not only impeccably clean but also incredibly spacious, offering a welcome retreat after a day of adventure. What truly impressed me was the innovative approach to dining. With the convenience of scanning a QR code in the comfort of my room, I could effortlessly order delicious meals through WhatsApp well in advance. While the meals took a bit longer to prepare, the freshness and quality were well worth the wait. The staff at Subaseth Villa went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. Their willingness to assist with any request, from room service to arranging tours, truly exemplified their dedication to hospitality. Nestled amidst the tranquil jungle surroundings, the hotel provided a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The sight of peacocks, monkeys, and squirrels frolicking in the hotel garden added an extra layer of charm to the experience. One highlight of my stay was the early morning packed breakfast provided for our Wilpattu tour at 5:30 am. It was a thoughtful touch that allowed us to start our day of exploration on the right foot. Moreover, the presence of an organic coconut and mango grove on the premises added a delightful tropical touch to the experience, showcasing a commitment to sustainability and locally sourced produce. In conclusion, my time at Subaseth Villa was nothing short of extraordinary. From the warm hospitality to the breathtaking surroundings, every moment exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to return for another unforgettable stay.

The staff here was always friendly, attentive, and willing to assist with any request whether it was arranging transportation, Big clean rooms, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, breakfast is amazing, very near to historical places and temple providing local recommendations, or simply checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. Very cosy hotell. Very helpful staff that organised sightseeing and transport. Tasty food at the swimming pool. Highly recommended!

The owner and his family were excellent! They treat us very well and entertained us with fresh lime juice on our arrival. They also sent us a sweet dish that they made in their kitchen. The room was newly built. Basic amenities like bed and fan was there. If you don’t need luxury this place is ok and value for money.

Every thing was perfect. You can easily feel that the host takes every means to make guests comfortable and happy in every details. super clean, no insects, no ants, no mosquito. I am able imagine how they realized it. You can ajust the lights to make yourself comfortable. Adaptor was prepared. The breakfast was a part of the whole fantastic stay!

This boutique hotel is top notch! So many wonderful details that made this our perfect stay: - 12 different bird sounds recorded during breakfast (we have an app) - Pool beautiful with lovely lounge chairs and shade umbrellas - EXCEPTIONAL FOOD! We ate breakfast lunch and dinner here our entire stay because it was so well done - Fresh cut flowers in the room - Full luscious live plants in the bathroom to mimic the beauty out our front patio - Large fridge and coffee and tea amenities - Luxurious stand alone tub under a sky light was well used by me - Soft full towels and bathmats - Very large room and bathroom which were both SPOTLESSLY CLEAN - CLOSE to everything one travels to Anuradhapura to see; not close to the town, but no need to go to the town - Each unit has its own koi pond with plants But the best of all was the warm and genuine service. Truly a diamond.

It magical, up in the trees with the noises of the forest. We loved the outdoor shower and the amenities at the hotel.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed! Jonti was always attentive, he kept the place clean and tidy, a kind soul to chat with! I enjoyed cooking and sharing food with my roommates, and just chilling out in the common area. Watching animals coming and going in the garden was fun - mongoose, monkey, parrot, Bengali monitor, woodpecker, kingfisher, hornbill, etc. Two minutes walk to the lake for sunrise/sunset. Truly a gem in Anuradhapura!
