Althought S Boutique Hotel wasn't in our plans, we we're beyond glad to experience it. We had a disappointing AirBnB nearby for two nights, which we ended up cancelling, leaving a day early. In this light, we booked S Boutique Hotel and messaged them, letting them know our situation and see if we could at least leave our bags and wait around before check-in. We made it to S around 9am. The first thing that called our attention was the thoughtfulness in design, respecting the natural elements, showcasing beautifully arranged wood, which dominates the landscape, supported by elegantly exposed concrete, all encompassed by the lush greenery around Isla Colon, with tasteful touches of glass, white contrasting pool chair sets, black painted bamboo dividers, etc. But the most striking aspect of S was the warm smile and professional behaviour of Jean. He immediately made us feel welcome, offering us coffee (which, again, comes in beautiful and thoughtful tableware) and check-in us smoothly. His conduct is one of competence, politeness, mixed with gentleness and friendliness, but most noticeably, humbleness and unpretentious, a rare combination we did not encounter much in Panama. Since we didn't had data, we couldn't see that Jean already had replied regarding our bags, reiterating us that the room was ready and just after our coffee, he guided us to it. The room follows the same natural theme. Concrete, white, wood, glass, elegant details in wicker. A citrussy essential oil hit us softly upong entering our room, enhancing our stay even further. Late at night, for some reason, water wasn't coming from the shower. I went down to ask Jean, which, along one of the owners, immediately went and fixed the issue in a matter of minutes. Again, the effectiveness in problem solving along with professionality in the way everyone at S carry themselves speaks highly of not just the Hotel, but the ideas, values and passions that had led this hotel to be made.

Everything! The decor, the staff, the atmosphere, the situation, the facilities and the hotel dog 😎. The owner of the hotel even arranged a tv screen for us to watch the Six Nations Rugby so what an incredible place to sit and watch the game looking out onto paradise. Special mentions to Benny and Bekar who made our stay wonderful. Always smiling and making sure we had everything we needed. I read before I booked here that some of the service was not good. I found the complete opposite. It was the perfect balance of attention and delivery. We had one of the sea view rooms where we listened to the sea and watched the surfers morning to night. If you are looking for a quiet room where you cant' hear the roar of the sea I'd book one of the garden rooms.

This place is incredible! I would give it 11 out of 10 if it would be possible. We heard and saw a lot of monkeys and birds, it was a really amazing experience that I will remember for a long time in my life. It's like you live in the middle of the jungle, but with all the benefits of a modern world. Interior of the capsule is beautiful, a really spacious shower with a roof window, so you feel like you connect with the nature. All facilities are new and clean. There is a shared kitchen and a fridge that you can use, and a nice pool area. Receptionist was very kind and attentive, and seemed really interested in our needs. A delicious and healthy breakfast was included in the price. Outside the hotel you can find some nice restaurants and beach clubs, and sea is just across the street. Hotel staff helped us with the motorcycle rent, which is only in a 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Bocas town is reachable by taxi in less then 10 minutes and taxi cost only 2 dollars per person! What I cannot put in words is the atmosphere of this place, which is really peaceful and just beautiful.

Amazing B&B, probably one of the best we have ever been. We definitely recommend and would come back anytime. Ania and Gabriel are amazing hosts, always kind and caring. You can completely rely on them for anything, from restaurant advices to trip bookings Breakfasts are great too. The location is also perfect. You can hop on any passing water taxi to go to other islands, Bocas being only two minutes away. Although it’s pretty close, the ambiance in Riva is way different, calm and chilled out, so you basically have the best of both worlds.

The vibes at Skully's are just phenomenal. I ended up extending my stay because i fell in love with the place. Many delicious food options, a really nice bar, activities everyday like Karaoke, Bar Bingo, Pool tournament, live music, and more. Also, i had restful sleep as the dorms are comfortable and people were super respectful to one another. I could stay here forever. Definetely the best place to stay in Bocas.

If you are going to surf, this is the best place to stay. In front of Paunch, and near to other beaches. David is very attentive, and quickly replied our doubts and messages. The room is big and clean. Thank you David for the amazin time there!

Absolutely stunning place to stay. Really enjoyable experience, obviously a popular location with lot of travellers. But hey! That's totally in line with the experience and expectations. The jungle behind the lodge is seriously adventures, and the coral reef in front of the lodge is packed with beautiful fish. Food and drinks where superb quality, prices were fair and reasonable!

Amaaaazing breakfast. Location was great - by the water of Saigon Bay which is not too far from the city center but far enough that it’s nice and peaceful. The bikes were very useful for getting around town and explore the island. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helped us plan our time in Bocas. The deck in front of the house was a nice place to chill, watch the sunset over the bay, and eat meals. The kitchen was well equipped. The atmosphere in and around the BnB was just great due to the many plants, lights, and cleanliness.
