The two brothers (the younger speaks fluently english) made sth. like a miracle with this old car-wash station in the centre of Sarande. They transformed the place in a superb "Boutique" style hostel. Have in mind the really good off-season price the breakfast was better then in any french hotel (take your own coffee with you), the shower beats most of the top notch hotels I know, and the courtyard gives the possibility to chill and connect with other travelers. Its a safe place, I even could let my bicycle there for a week for more than a fair price. Have in mind, that it is city center and its a all season party town, so do not expect a quite place for your meditation, better have good ear-plugs with you.

2.5 km from Vjetër Beach, Aloju Rooms is a recently renovated property located in Vlorë and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The property has garden views and is 3.5 km from Independence Square and 3.9 km from Kuzum Baba. The guest house features family rooms. Great place! Good location if you come by car - you are 7 minutes away from all the nice beaches and close to the city centre. When you come into the house - you have a long bright hallway with several rooms just like in usual hotels. The room itself is amazing - new, fresh, exceptionally clean and nice looking! There is a minibar with drinks for a good prices. Fresh towels, sheets pleasant to touch, TV, air conditioner. If anything else is needed - you just need to ask. Before you come - I would advise to ask the host for the location link, it is a bit hard to find. But overall this is the best place to come by car!

This 4-star hotel offers a bar. The hotel has a hot tub, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. We booked Sunset Shoreline Saranda at the last minute after an unexpected change of plans, and it turned out to be a great surprise. The property sits high on the hills with absolutely superb sea views, but be ready for some serious uphill driving and unpaved roads to get there. Once you arrive, it’s worth it. Our deluxe suite (queen bed and sofa bed) was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. The bathroom was stylish, and we appreciated small details like the in-room safe, touchscreen controls for AC and door access, and a cozy balcony. I’d recommend staying on the 2nd or 3rd floor since old pine trees partly block the sea view at the 1st floor. Breakfast was excellent, an open buffet with fresh fruit, pastries, sunny-side-up eggs, and omelets. I honestly don’t understand the complaints some reviewers had; everything was plentiful and tasty. Each guest also gets one hot drink from the coffee bar for free. The on-site restaurant serves good Italian dishes, and we even received an invoice without asking, which shows their professionalism. Parking is spacious and stress-free, far from the traffic of Saranda’s center. The only thing missing was a kettle in the room. Overall, a comfortable and scenic stay that exceeded our expectations.
