Front bedroom with bunkbeds could be a little noisy due to street, but it didn’t bother me. Good communication with owner via WhatsApp. The person with the key is someone who works at the shop to the left of the apartment. That person (or his dad) also handles the payment. Just something to be aware of, since this isn’t spelled out on Booking. And also that the apt on the third floor; no problem but note that you will have to carry your suitcase up. Fans are available in the bedrooms and are necessary, since there is no AC.

I'm writing this review to stop Booking from asking me to. I didn't actually stay at this apartment. I booked it the same day of the stay and I got a message from the owner that they'd had some plumbing issues. I haven't checked to see if Booking charged me and that's why it keeps asking me to review it, however. In any case, we stayed instead at the Casa Escobar hotel, and I loved it.

The units at the country house are equipped with a private bathroom and bed linen. Mama Yeya is an excellent place to relax away from the noise of the main town. The cabin was beautiful and spotless clean. The staff were very friendly at all times. The food was delicious! I recommend this place. We were able to leave our bags at the restaurant even before check in (which was very handy)! We thank Mama Yeya and her family for this experience!
