The property is also close to one of the best beaches. Was super relaxing and everyone was so friendly. The drinks were awesome, the included breakfast was delicious and the pool was also really nice. Highly recommend! Also, there are howler monkeys in the area which were awesome to hear and see, and with a short walk off the property there are so many other cool animals to see, Like toucans and macaws!

Julien, the host, has a pure heart full of love for flora, fauna and is a great example of living a pura vida. He gave us best advices of the area, showed us around the property and village. Casa Mambo is very cozy, comfortable and really close to the beach. Breakfasts there were super delicious. We wish we could have stayed longer. Once we get back to CR, we will definately go to Casa Mambo.

The hotel features a hot tub, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. it was great! the bed was comfy, the shower was the best I had in Costa Rica, the pool was clean and actually refreshing, fast and stable internet, the breakfast buffet was excellent and everybody was super friendly and helpful. we used the laundry service in the evening and got it back the next morning. we rented a motorbike, which was a great deal and we enjoyed it a lot. the bicycles looked good too, all new and in a good condition.

Everything was perfect. We were well taken care of from the moment, we arrived to La Pavona, as the boat company knew about our arrival and had our names. The accomodation even arranged our transfer to Cahuita (boat and taxi), which worked out well. The apartment exeeded every expectation. Huge open space, wonderful views to Tortuguero canal with sliding doors/windows to let the outside atmosphere in. The whole space was very clean, warm shower, safe, garderobe for clothes, dining an writing table, full sized fridge, double airconditioning, and even a bathtube with view. The bed was very comfortable, the linen was good quality. In town everything was in walking distance, and the whole area was astonishing. If we ever return to Costa Rica, we would definitely stay here again.

The owners were super friendly and helped us with all requests. We also booked the canoe tour and the day walk tour with the location and had a great time. We highly recommend it.

Angie and her daughter Anielka were extremely responsive and attentive! Checking in periodically to see if there was anything I needed. Made me feel very welcomed and at home. The space was large, with a full stock kitchen. The couch in the living room was also very comfortable. During the day, the house could get hot but using the air conditioner in the bedroom it wasn't an issue at all. I really enjoyed how quiet the area was, while conveniently walking distance to the main street of town. So great location!
