Beautifully and recently created. Loved the pool and the plants and the ability to also work with decent wifi. Though it was the owners and family (and the rest of the team) that really made it. They helped in more ways than we would have anticipated. Would definitely return.

Location is in the centre of Malioboro. Food is nice, room is huge for a family of 2+ 2 children and a baby.

Maison Manendra is not only a hotel/guesthouse but a whole concept. The rooms are big and comfortable with an ensuite bathroom with a warm water shower. The food is good and portions are generous. You mostly eat at a big table with other guests but if you don't like it you are not forced to socialize. After dinner, Rani and Oussama ask what you are planning to do the next day. If you are planning to do the Bromo walking tour and other guests like to join, you share a car (and the cost of it)... or not if you prefer to go alone. We had the chance to share cars for the Bromo walking tour and for the Tumpak Sewu waterfall and could cut the cost and have a good time with fellow travellers. Rani and Oussama offer solutions for most of your travelling problems: transportation to Maison Manendra from Malang, Bromo Tour without other people around you, tour to Tumpak Sewu with a fantastic guide, taxi to Surabaya... and many more. Rani and Oussama travel a lot in and out of Indonesia and are well aware of what you need during your Java trip. If you are looking for luxury, it is not the place for you. As for myself, I got far more than I expected. Merci Rani et Oussama, c'était absolument super!

Location is close to the waterfall, breakfast is tasty, hosts are very friendy and kind. It is also close to the local restaurant with affortable prices and also tasty. Mornig view on the volcano is out if this world.

This place is truly a hidden gem of a hotel. I wasn’t expecting that much given the reasonable prices, and while it’s no 5 star hotel, it was one of the best hotels I stayed in during my 3-4 months in SE Asia. My room was much bigger than most other places here. Clean as well and no smell in the bathroom. Felt like it had been redone recently because it was all new construction. Plus the little cafe in the front was very cute and served coffee and food.

The location is more than perfect. Close to Borobudur temple. The temple is about a 15-minute bike ride from the villa. They have push bikes that can be used for free by the guests. The villa is also about 15 minutes walk from the traditional market. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the hotel, which was fantastic.

Το L'JAVAS VILLAS, που διαθέτει βεράντα, βρίσκεται στον προορισμό Kalibendo, Jawa Timur, και απέχει 28 χλμ από Watu Dodol. Absolute heaven !! Amazing property at the most reasonable price. Clean, brand new rooms, most comfortable bed, large balcony overlooking a bamboo forest with the sounds of a rushing stream below. And even better, I cannot say enough good things about the owner!! Made us dinner even though the kitchen was closed after arriving late in the night, arranged an amazing and well priced Ljen tour for us, lent me Indonesian dollars when I had none left AND even drove me to the airport in his personal car when I was so late I would have missed my flight! He makes you feel like you’re at home. Stay here you won’t regret it!!
