It is a well-equiped, nicely decorated, charming small house with a beautiful garden overlooking the village and the hills around. The breakfast was also delicious. But no experience in Umm Qais is complete without Ahmad's highly professional guidance - he is well-known to be the best guide in the area, and there is a reason for his reputation. In a very reasonable arrangement, we have not only managed to learn the formal history of the area but also gained insights from someone who actually used to live in the site and later also participated in the preservation efforts. Our stay and the short morning tour with Ahmad in the site was truly a highlight of our entire trip in Jordan.

The location is also excellent, with shopping malls, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Irbid for either business or pleasure.
