The breakfast, in particular, was a delightful spread of fresh bread, jams, olives, and mint tea—a perfect way to start the day. The family are very kind and warm they made my stay super comfortable. I met Abdeouha at the river rondamly and he show me around,it was soper nice. And also he took me to the Mt Tiglist was worthy experience.I am really greatful and thankful for the time to him. I liked this village a lot, people are friendly and peace and quiet in the natural. There are so many path to walk around and water was super beautiful. Also they have many farm around the river it was nice to see their life style it's simple but so beautiful, it was my dream life. I hope I will come back oneday :)

We stopped at this guest house on the road from Marrakech to Ouarzazate. The mountain area is really beautiful (several hiking possibilities), the guest house is in a small mountain village, it was very comfortable and clean. The owner Mr. Abdoul was very hospitable. It was also some of the best food we ate in Morocco (both the dinner and the breakfast). Highly recommended.

Wonderful location, very close to Khenifra, Arrougou and Aguelmam. Great place to stay if you want to visit all 3 and sleep under clear skies and away from the noise. The staff and owner are incredibly nice and accommodating and the food is local and delicious. Highly recommend.

Mohamed went out of his way to take care of us. A story by way of example: two days before our stay, we found ourselves too tired to complete our hike to the hotel where we planned to stay the night before coming to Dar Megdaz. On a whim, I contacted Mohamed to see if he could arrange car transport. At the time, we had no idea what we were asking of him. It turned out that part of the road he had to travel was almost completely impassable by car--it was on a rocky creek bed and over steep, unpaved hills. We could not believe that Mohamed came, as he had said he would. He didn't even ask for payment but said guests were like family. And that's just how we felt every moment of our time at Dar Megdaz. Beyond the OUTSTANDING staff, Dar Megdaz is so lovely and comfortable. We appreciated the delicious and beautifully presented food, the serene covered outdoor patio overlooking the mountains, and the quiet, cool room--it was the heat of summer but our room in the basement stayed very cool. We also enjoyed Mohamed's tour of this picturesque Berber village. Cannot recommend this place more highly.
