Very special accommodation awaited us here, namely the Koofan Heritage House. This is a 150-year-old clay and stone house that has been carefully restored by the owner family. In the individual rooms, you will find numerous original artefacts and pieces of furniture belonging to the family from earlier times, which are beautifully displayed here. The house has 12 individually furnished rooms, a small souvenir shop, a café, a tour desk and a small museum. But the whole house is actually a kind of "open-air museum". While most visitors only come for the museum (admission 1 rial), we definitely recommend at least one overnight stay. A small, traditional breakfast is served in the morning. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to provide guests with an exceptional experience. The accommodation is just 25 minutes from Wadi Darbat and only 5 minutes from the sea. Super positioned apartment rent with tidy rooms and super nice staff. Communication was excellent and they were always smiling and welcoming. I spent 4 nights in room 605. They allowed for early check in, the view from the balcony over the city at sunrise is just amazing and room was tidy with AC. Parking in front of the building is without problems and it's full of local restaurants and shops in the area. Walking around felt very safe although I was the only tourist all the time. Very close to bus terminus and car rental agencies. Top for low budget visiting Salalah

The host, Rabia, was truly one of the highlights of our stay. From the time I booked the apartment until I reached back home, he stayed in touch and was always available. He personally welcomed us on arrival, gave us a detailed home tour, and made sure we were comfortable and settled before leaving. The apartment itself is spacious, very clean, and well-equipped with everything needed for a long stay. All the appliances and electronic equipment were in perfect working condition. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Dahariz Beach, which is a huge plus for beach lovers. Most of Salalah’s attractions were also very close by, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. Rabia’s daily suggestions for places to visit saved us a lot of time and made our trip even more enjoyable. Many cafes and grocery shops nearby make daily life much easier. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return to Salalah and this apartment again.
