The welcome is truly incredible and everything is done to make Linon feel safe and comfortable. Your car is guarded by a security team and Vera is very attentive because I couldn't find the accommodation and came straight away to fetch it. The room is very clean, the typical breakfast is great! The hotel is beautiful, the balcony and window had a wonderful view, the room and bathroom are clean and luxurious. Ervis helped me book all the tickets needed to get to Valbone for the Valbone Theth hike and let me keep my luggage there till I returned. It's very close to the bus station (2 minutes) and to the downtown as well

    Great hotel. The price corresponds to the quality. I want to note: - Attentive and polite staff, pleasant workers in the spa area, at the reception, waiters, parking workers and maids. Everyone tried to help with any questions and were very friendly - The room had a kitchenette, stove, large refrigerator, dishes, safe, bathrobes, slippers, bar, baby cot - The bathroom is large and bright, excellent magnifying mirror, hair dryer, shampoo, gels, soap - There was a Jacuzzi in the bathroom (we were surprised because we didn't expect this from the photo) - the children were delighted - Periodically there was a ringing from the mosque, but it did not interfere at all - The room is very warm, we opened the windows at night - We had dinner in a restaurant, delicious and at the same price as in the nearest restaurants - We paid with a contactless card. Keep in mind that only debit (personal) cards work

    The staff were great. Super friendly. Loved the location. We used this as a base to drive to Theth. We left around 6am to get to Theth to hike. Around the best time to do it so it's not too crowded and hot. The room was nice. Perfect for what we needed.

    The staff was kind and helpful. Drinking coctails in the pool was cool, the coffee was amazing and the rooms were big and comfortable. It's really close to the beach and there are golf cars in the hotel to bring you to the beach and back to the hotel.

    This time I saw Shkodra with different eyes.

    This time I saw Shkodra with different eyes. The city’s diversity of people and cultural mix stood out strongly, and over the weekend the lively atmosphere of parties gave it an energetic spirit. What touched me most, however, were the Catholic churches scattered around the city. Stepping into them gave me a profound sense of spirituality and peace, balancing the vibrant social scene outside. Shkodra truly holds a unique charm – a place where culture, celebration, and spirituality come together beautifully.

    We stayed at a guesthouse in the mountains about a 10 minute drive from the main village. We did really enjoy being outside of the village as it was a bit crowded and littered. We did have a rental car and felt it was nice to have but there were taxis and group vans all over the main parking lot in Theth to take travelers to different popular hiking spots like The Blue Eye. If you do rent a car, a smaller car is better as the mountain roads are not very wide. Overall, the views are absolutely amazing and it feels like a fairytale little town.

    This was our favorite spot in Albania.

    This was our favorite spot in Albania. It's secluded and personal and the staff was exceptional. Mark had us laughing the whole time and Sando kept us entertained with Raki and stories of Albania. We sat on the floating dock at night and saw every star in the sky. They took us to the beach for the day and we skipped rocks and swam in the freezing water under the hot sun. There was plenty to do at the beach, including zip lining, a DJ, bars, and more. I'd go back in a heartbeat. I'll never forget the friends we made there!

    It was the first time to be in Velipoje.

    It was the first time to be in Velipoje. It's not a big city but I am positively surprised. The Velipoja beach (where we were placed) was clean, the water was so clear and warm. The kids part with the toys at the center of the city was excellent. The food was good tasted, fresh and the staff was very polite.

    Mountains and hiking but without tourists and crowds like in Theth. Friendly and accommodating locals because most tourists do not stay overnight in Boge. Boge is only a quick stop for coffee then people continue to/from Theth.

    Theth is scenic and beautiful, and the hiking in the area is wonderful. But as a village that is new to the tourism industry, it needs to decide what it wants to be - a destination for the outdoor-loving hiker, or one for loud thumping-music-loving weekenders. It can't work for both!

    We stayed at the hotel before and after our river tour. It's an excellent place to stay for that purpose and there is an excellent swimming facility on the lake. We didn't checkout additional activities in the area.

    The hotel is close to the beach, which was great.

    The hotel is close to the beach, which was great. The pool was small but clean, and my son really enjoyed it. Breakfast was OK, and there are small shops nearby, along with parking available. I would have rated this 5 stars if it weren't for one issue: the cooking utensils. If you plan to book an apartment, I recommend bringing your own cooking pans, or you’ll be disappointed.

    Reviews we read of Shkoder said it's a university town with lots of biking. Not sure what those reviewers were writing about, but there weren't many bike friendly areas and the town was not as vibrant as we expected. We did spend some time in the Shiroka area on the lake a 10 minute or so drive from Shkoder and that was very nice - good restaurants and lake activities. We also went to the mountains and stayed in Theth, which was wonderful and highly recommended.
