This is a true gem on the Bodensee. Staff is excellent and very nice, helpful - it felt like "coming home". Hotel and facilities are 5 stars + and breakfast a true joy as was dinners and amenities. But staff was the best I have experienced (and I tyravel alot).

I had an amazing time here! The accommodation was absolutely exceptional and far exceeded my expectations. Everything was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had a luxurious feel. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the staff were extremely kind, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. The restaurant was another highlight — the traditional dishes were incredibly tasty, fresh, and beautifully presented. A real culinary experience that added so much value to my trip. Beautiful heritage city enclosed by intact medieval walls and overlooked by ancient fortress. The culture, architecture and history are proudly protected and conserved. The food and people are wonderful. So much to see and do in Salzburg and the surrounding region. The fortress, Untersberg cable car, Mozart birthplace and residence, churches are must sees. Easy to use public transport. Berchdesgarten and Obersaltzburg are a short bus trip away. Salzburg Card is well worth buying for transport and attractions. Visitor information centre in the old town is very good.

Innsbruck exceeded my expectations.

Innsbruck exceeded my expectations. As someone who enjoys an active holiday - this was an outdoor paradise. From hiking, running, mountain biking to skiing, Innsbruck has everything. I loved the culture of using cycling as the main transport. All the locals are so happy, healthy and fit which makes the town vibrant and exciting. My recommendation is when you arrive, attend the info centre (centre of town) and they will provide a map based on what you want to do. Everyone is so helpful. Even walking around town, eating ice-cream the admiring the old buildings with the mountains in the background is pure bliss. I was obsessed with the salmon Poke bowls in the food market on the river, was so yummy! It’s honestly the best place I’ve ever travelled and will be back one day (I hope), thank you!

What a beautiful and picturesque town.

What a beautiful and picturesque town. Plenty to see and do and great shopping. We were able to do the Jungfrau (top of Europe) trip from Interlaken Ost. The Beatus Caves were good and the ferry trip from Interlaken Ost to Brienz was so beautiful. The dinner we had at Hirschen’s was lovely! Highly recommend.

This is a small, quaint town at the base of the Matterhorn.

This is a small, quaint town at the base of the Matterhorn. There are easy trips and hikes around the area. Lots of fun shops and delicious restaurants. We had some incredible meals there. Just a beautiful place to relax.

Lugano is a nice little town with all facilities and...

Lugano is a nice little town with all facilities and transportation points near at hand. Monte Bre and Monte San Salvatore are excellent points to visit with breathtaking panoramic views. We also did a day trip to Morcote which was also very nice specially Scherrer's Park. Back in Lugano, Parco Ciani and Piazza Riforma are excellent places to hang around and have meals. We had some excellent Ticinese food at La Tinera which is not to be missed if one wants to sample the regional cuisine.

We enjoyed walking around the lake in the morning with a visit to Bled Castle in the afternoon. Next day we spent 3 hours at the spectacular Vintgar Gorge and would recommend all these activities to visitors. With more time we could have done more hiking in the lake area and spent some time on the lake itself.

Would like to go back prepared to do the walks and hikes in the area. The old city and market were charming. Loved the Archeology museum and learning about Otzi the Iceman. Cable car and train a great introduction to the possibilities available for future visits.

There was a great view from my balcony as we could see Mount Eiger facing us closely from time to time. The location of the hotel was also great as it was just 4-minute walk from the Grindelwald station. In fact, the room size was a bit small. However, the breakfast was good with variety.

Our stay was for 3 days in October.

Our stay was for 3 days in October. Unfortunately in October attractions including most cable cars and the Mer de Glace are closed. But our visit to the Aiguille du Midi made our stay - we had great weather and the views from the Aiguille were amazing! Chamonix is a beautiful town. We enjoyed seeing Mont Blanc up-close. We enjoyed our hikes in the mountains near Chamonix.

This is one of those towns you need to keep coming back to.

This is one of those towns you need to keep coming back to. We love GP for a weekend getaway. We always ride the train in and get around by foot (or bus) after we're there. Go in every season...there's always something wonderful to experience.
