A special, family-run hotel. Great atmosphere and exceptional staff. We stayed with dinner and breakfast and they were wonderful, thoughtful and varied. Lovely hotel in quiet location on the outskirts of Holzgau. Children's play area to the front and a drinks terrace and sunbathing lawn. Very nice rooms but the absolutely outstanding feature was the food. Both the breakfast buffet and the 5 course evening meal were superb .Good parking.

The hosts made us feel most welcome throughout our stay. The guesthouse is cozy, with spotless rooms, extremely comfortable beds, and stunning views. Several restaurants are within walking distance, and all essential services are available in the village. Just a 15-minute drive to Warth, making it an excellent and peaceful basecamp for a ski trip. While no formal breakfast was offered, this was not an issue. The lounge downstairs always had bread, cookies, and other snacks available, along with an espresso machine. We chose for a room with a kitchen but could have easily managed without it. Would highly recommend!

We had this wonderful stay at Landhaus Marion! The appartment is very comfortable, cozy and very clean. Everything is there and the view was spectacular with all the snow. At Christmas eve we got all this Christmas cookies from Marion, this was so special. We did a lot of skiing at Warth. We love to come back!

Our room was fabulous - not only was it very large but the walls were also lined with wood and the room smelled heavenly (like a wood shop). The owners were wonderful - even allowed us to go to breakfast early as we had to leave early. The location is beautiful.

breath-taking views of mountains. Bach valley is so picture perfect. We went in mid-November...right before their ski season. Great hikes and mountain biking abound. Beautiful snowfall made the scenery even more perfect.

Elbigenalp is ideal for walking/hiking holidays.

Elbigenalp is ideal for walking/hiking holidays. There are several alms within an hour or two hiking, often through spectacular scenery. Height differences range from an easy 200 m to 400 m, or up to 700 m if you have more time and energy. The bus running along the valley allows you to make one-way walks, or to start a walk in a different village. The river Lech is also a peaceful refuge, and it is very pleasant just to sit on a bench or rock beside the river and enjoy the sounds and sights.

Rating: 5/5 - Excellent Stay! I had an amazing time at this pension during my holiday. Everything was absolutely perfect—from the welcoming and friendly service to the comfortable and spotless rooms.
