We would like to thanks all the staff from MalisGartern for their professional approach, especially the Calvin who was very helpful, kind and always ready to assist. Also big thanks to Anton, and also Judy our guide for hiking. She is very big professional and kind person. We spent a very nice day hiking in Tirol Alps. Also big thanks to Simone from the bar, she is big professional bartender and always prepare tasty drinks for us. The environment of the hotel is very quiet, which suits for us very well as we were looking for relax. The pool, Spa and garden were amazing and our jacuzzi on the balcony was the cherry on the top :) We would like to fully recommend this hotel and definitely will come back!

Really great environment and room accessories. From the area, it is possible to feel family values and teamwork. The owner mostly walks among people in the restaurant to check customer ratings or just say 'Hello.' The sauna has a really nice view and free entrance to the balcony, so it's awesome. Unfortunately, customers with children cannot enter the sauna area. Based on this rule, it would be a great option to offer a reservation for Private Time. This option is not offered automatically. The environment is primarily prepared for the winter season, which is reflected in the fact that the hotel does not have a swimming pool, which is understandable. Considering that we try to go to similar countries, such as Switzerland for example, so I dare to rate 10/10 with a reminder of the sauna, because of the children.

This place was truely amazing. The hotel itself looks like a beautiful modern castle a bit outside the city of Gerlos, surrounded by snowy plains and mountains. Rooms are surprisingly big, very modern while having a warm wooden touch, very clean, excellent bathroom facilities. Sauna and Swimmingpool are beautiful. Food was exceptional (!). While breakfast and lunch were buffets with a great variety, also for vegans, Dinner was a 5 course menu a la carte - with quality of a Michelin Starred restaurant. I could write an essay alone about the food. Staff was world class - friendly, approachable, compentent. Milan from the Restaurant staff was an exceptional host. Ski lift to Zillertal Arena is one street crossing away from the main entrance. Perfect. Overall, we felt like in a dream - thus I can confirm the name of this hotel being more than accurate. Travelling a lot around the world using hotels, this is one of the Top3 stays in my life. Thank you to the Hollaus Family for creating this beautiful place.

One of the best summer holidays in the Alps. The location was perfect, close to all the places we wished to visit and the staff was very professional and helpful and went above and beyond. This is a family run hotel and with no doubt one of the best hotel experiences we ever had. The food is a Michelin experience and the family vibe experience made us feel so welcome. Honestly you will not regret it to book it. Everything is just amazing.

This skiing area is large enough for a week, except when you...

This skiing area is large enough for a week, except when you are a experienced skier, then it might be too small. It was 14-17 °C all week (march '25 !!!) and there was still enough snow on the slopes, just not in the valley below. Good slopes, not too many for real beginners though. Several kid's fun slopes, and several action parks, slaloms with movie recordings and speed checks. Nice to download the movies afterwards!

Overall the hotel was ok, my major disappointment was spa area accessibility restrictions…. unless we go naked, we were not allowed to use it. It is not very guest friendly attitude, considering that I as a guest have paid for spa area as well…. I definitely would have chosen a different place to stay

Belvilla have stolen my money and refuse to repay my deposit, we were unable to travel due to the pandemic and advised well before the refund deadline that the Uk was in a national lockdown and international travel banned and yet the still refuse to refund our deposit will never deal with this company again totally dishonest

We spent wonderful winter vacation in this apartment. It was amazingly big with enough space for everyone and everything. Very well equipped, super clean and cozy. We could easily travel to nearby skiing resorts by our car (parking in front of the doors) but ski bus stop was very close. Our hosts were sweet young couple who was very helpful and nurturing. Definitely will come back once we want to visit the area again!

The waterfalls were awesome.

The waterfalls were awesome. Even better than photos suggest. Was quite busy on the perfect Summer’s day we were there, so parking was at a premium- I’d aim to arrive early if your situation is the same. Definitely worth a visit, and a quite full afternoon to climb the steep but well manicured path to the top. Take plenty of drinking water for the climb.

A very beautiful location with great public transport.

A very beautiful location with great public transport. We didn’t hire a car, but could get everywhere we needed using the public transport, which is very reliable. The outdoor swimming pool in Zell is great for kids, with stunning views. The supermarket there, Billa, had lots of vegan food for us. The brewery tour (Brau Kunst Haus) was great, as was our trip up the Rosenalmbahn cable car.

The location of the apartment was perfect for the gondola at gerlos. I also think there are free buses to get to other resorts in the valley. The apartment was very well set up and comfortable and it was nice that there were some basic things in the cupboard etc The host was also very friendly. There wasn’t anything that we particularly didn’t like! It was also very good value for money although we stayed in low season.

Beautiful scenery and passes to cross for the motorbike. Stayed at Gast Hof Kuhle Rast, great hotel,lovely breakfast and evening meal, this place is a great find. (Not for the disabled as on a hill and accommodation is upstairs). Wonderful for an overnight but better still for a weeks holiday. They have 3 sitting out areas and a great seating area inside. Rustic Austria. The scenery was fantastic.

This location was not our first choice.

This location was not our first choice. As cyclists we were forced to alter our desired destination because of a recent flood that wiped out the accommodations we thought we would have preferred in Krimml. Ironically, our 2-night stay at Schöeneben turned out to be our favorite destination of a 3 1/2-week bicycle tour of Bavaria and Austria. We were easily able to get to our desired destination by bicycle on our full day in between our two nights and incidentally unencumbered with panniers. The location was incredibly beautiful and being up from the river and cycle path offered views that would have been unavailable if our original wish had come true. We were extremely pleased. Schöeneben was not only our lodging, but the restaurant hosted by a husband and wife team provided the most delectable dining experience of our tour. We would enthusiastically return if it becomes possible in our future travels.
