Fantastic views, fantastic staff, went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Sara was a gem. She picked us up from the cable car, and I really didn't think the car would make it up to the mountain with us all on board, but she drove like a pro. I can't give any more praise for the place. Everything. We travel a lot and have travelled around Europe but this hotel was above and beyond any place we have stayed so far. The creativity of the design, definitely is something to look forward to. rooms are super clean, the hotel management is super generous with providing almost any snack you might crave and refilling it free of charge. The view is breath taking. The breakfast was such a smart idea to be served in picnic baskets behind the door. We Loved Everything and looking forward to go back.

    The staff was so kind and the cabin we stayed in was so cute! It was in such a beautiful location with the waterfall right outside the door and a stunning view of the mountains. The staff was so helpful and helped us navigate to some of the other towns in the area and helped us to find some hikes to do. I wish we could have stayed longer we loved it so much. Plus everything was so clean and the bathrooms looked newly renovated.

    Great hotel in the scenic Grimsel Pass area. Fabulous location for walking or visiting the Gelmerbahn. Bus stops at the door and it's only 1 hour from Meiringen.     The location was absolutely amazing, and the breakfast was delightful. Most of all, we loved the beautiful tennis court — such a unique highlight!     Enjoyed a fantastic meal at Loetschberg. Lively space with tables full of locals and visitors alike. The Coop is amazing! We got lunch in the "food court" and carried it upstairs to the bar area. Fantastic. The bears are a must-see, and we enjoyed a drizzly walk up to the Rose Garden. The Paul Klee museum is interesting, well done and clearly a labor of love for the city. Bern would be even more beautiful in the sun, but the people made it perfectly enjoyable.

    We stayed for 3-1/2 days mostly hiking in the area in mid-August. Many tourists but manageable. Strongly, strongly suggest buying the Jungfrau Pass so you can access any trains, buses, and cable cars in the entire area. It makes it so easy to get around Grindelwald, Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Murren, Wengen, First, and the Eiger. We should have booked a 5 day stay as there were some other hikes and attractions we wanted to take and see. Definitely go to Glacier Canyon and walk it to the end, but take warm clothes as the canyon is quite cool even in August due to the glacial runoff. And for sure visit the base of the Eiger. Suggest you also always get up early and get transport to your destination as late mornings (August) can be very busy and cause long lines.

    Great location with magical views.

    Great location with magical views. Train in walking distance to go to Jungfraujoch. Tickets were easily purchased at the campsite front desk. They could advise how busy the train was as their system seemed connected. There was a shop at the campsite with all the main items and there was a bigger supermarket also in walking distance. Restaurants and bar in the town also in walking distance. Great kitchen facilties at the campsite. We would stay longer to see more of the area.

Dinner on the lake, afternoon tea at Schloss Schadau, downtown area by the river. plenty of scenic side trips like the funicular up the Neisen and the Thunerseespiele (musical presented in an outdoor theater overlooking the lake) and plenty of other things to se and do

    Wengen is a perfect spot to make home base while you explore the Lauterbrunnen and Jungfrau region. This car free village is easily accessible by train from Lauterbrunnen, where you find a relatively cheap car park and train access to Interlaken. Wengen felt less crowded than Mürren or Lauterbrunnen in the valley. There are numerous restaurants, stores, and two grocery stores in town to stock up on essentials. Getting around the area is easy thanks to the train and the Männlichen gondola.

    The apartment was spacious and had a terrific view from the balcony. Free parking was close by and checking in was a breeze. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities and the refrigerator was good sized. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room for 5 adult guests. We could stay here again and highly recommend this property.

    Brienz is easy to approach from interlaken by train or car. Brienz lake view, cruise journey from Brienz to Iseltwald, interlaken was awesome. Brienz Rothorn train ride is amazing and unforgettable and the views of Brienz lake from top of mountains were Marvellous. I would suggest everyone who wants to explore Lautterbrunnen, Grindelwald, harder Kulm please come, stay and visit Brienz.

    Wilderswil was a pleasant surprise. a quiet residential community a few kilometers from Interlaken, the area is quiet and friendly. A short bus ride to the main train station and into the city of Interlaken provides access to the rest of the area. I look forward to returning in the winter to enjoy the surrounding snowfall (hopefully!).
