Absolutely amazing specially the staff and management. Patrick was so helpful and attentive with a welcoming attitude and good sense of humour.the hotel itself is clean and in a quiet area yet it is still within close proximity to shops and restaurant. A bus stop is in front of the hotel that goes to the old town of Luzern. I will definitely recommend it to anyone.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. I would especially like to mention the following hotel employees: Lawrence, Julietta, Fabio, Bogdan and Adi. Magnificent view from the room to the lake. The room is comfortable. An unforgettable magic experience of visiting a Japanese restaurant Minamo with a chef Yutaka Kobayashi. Every dish was like a piece of art. We stayed for two nights and got to climbed the peaks and see alps in the distance which was breathtaking! The half board option is really ideal for us and helped us to secure nice table and food choice. They also provide us free cable or cogwheels tickets for the 2nd day that allowed us to decent to Kriens and Lucerne. We would highly recommended this place to stay for at least two nights if you love mountains and nature. The staffs are thoughtful and friendly.

The hotel is very beautiful. The Castle Hotel is located at the highest point of Lucerne, with a panoramic view of the lake and mountains of Lucerne. The hotel has a classical style of architecture. The rooms are very warm, luxuriously decorated, and the room with balkan have first-class views. The front desk service is good, and the restaurant and bar service is also nice and friendly. The breakfast is very rich with lots of choices. The hotel has the potential of 5 stars quality. I am very satisfied with this hotel experience. It is like a miniature tour. You can enjoy the panoramic view of Lucerne in all directions in the hotel. The location is very good. It takes less 20 minutes from the train station to the hotel. You can take the cable car from Gutsch bus stop directly to the hotel.

I loved everything. The view was exceptional, like on a postcard, the breakfast was fantastic. The location was spot on. There is parking right next to the hotel. Do yourself a favour and have dinner at the restaurant. Watch the swans and the boats passing by.. This is truly a unique and beautiful setting. Watch the full moon rising over the mountain. 200m away from the boat docking for passenger boats. We stayed for 3 nights and booked for an additional 2 nights. That says it all doesnt it?

The hotel continues to be outstanding. We have returned several times over many years and the quality is always of the highest order : welcoming and professional staff,; clean; extensive and varied breakfast of high quality dishes ; delicious dining in the restaurant; etc... The location on the lake provides the hotel with a unique advantage in terms of terrace dining as well as garden relaxing with a heated outside pool. The lake and mountain views are wonderful.

The room we checked in has balcony with fabulous lake view, it was really stunning. The room was clean, comfortable, all amenities was provided, and free flow of water and soft drinks from the minibar in the room. The breakfast was very good in food quality and nice lake view during breakfast too. A safe indoor parking was provided with minimum charges. Overall the hotel is one of the best hotel we stayed during our trip to Switzerland.

The view from the room and restaurant is amazing! The staff is friendly, helpful and always there for you in case you need anything. Beautiful city that caters very well for tourists.

Beautiful city that caters very well for tourists. As an English speaker I had no issues with communication everywhere. We walked to most places and appreciated the general flatness of Lucerne (except for the climb up to the city wall and museum). From a culinary perspective you will not be disappointed with a wide variety of restaurants and cafes to choose from.

Ok so, Weggis is a beautiful little village but that is also it's problem, it's a little village. Activities were limited and so were the restaurants. I would recommended staying there as a "base" but then exploring the surrounding attractions.

Sursee is a stunningly beautiful town with charming old houses, a picturesque Old Town, excellent restaurants, a castle, a creek, and nearby lake. As a family, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. What made it truly special were the incredibly welcoming and kind people. We felt at home right away and would love to return. Highly recommended!

I received an upgrade from a mountain view room to a lake view room, which I appreciated very much. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Hotel Rigi Vitznau to anyone visiting Vitznau.

Fantastic city - great restaurants, plenty of wonderful historic sites, loved the public transportation options and ease of access to outlying areas. We felt safe and welcomed. We really loved the medieval wall with towers and the closeness of Mt. Rigi.

Booked room with a mountain view.

Booked room with a mountain view. However, on reaching the property, upgraded to Lake view at a cost of CHF 20 per day. Room had amazing view of Lake and hills. Property is located in Weggis and is easily accessible from Boat and bus ( Frequency of 30mins to 60mins). Town is very peaceful and one can enjoy beautiful walk around the lake. Property has fitness centre, spa and swimming pool which are maintained properly. Had an amazing experience staying at this property.

If you are umming and ahhing about going, just go. I've seen a review saying it was crowded, but October 2023 it was not, it was very quiet so if you want a bustling vibe it's not for you! I think in summer it may be more of a popular spot.

Luzern is very beautiful city and worth a lot to visit. It is really possible to find cafe or possibilities to have an affordable meal . People at the street great you , everyone very friendly and you have a feeling to be at home! City is full of various museums, excursion possibilities and great food! I think everyone should visit this beautiful place!!!!

The views of the mountains around the lake are fantastic.

The views of the mountains around the lake are fantastic. We ate in our hotel on both nights of our stay and the food and wine were fabulous. You can walk alongside the lake and there are several places to eat. We visited Mount Rigi which was busy but the 360 view at the top was wonderful. We went up in a cable car then railway then had an easy walk back down to the cable car station
