- From $352.11 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 654 reviewsThe hotel is located at the bank of Lake Lucerne with magnificent views toward the surrounding hills and the lake. It is mesmerizing. The establishment run by a wonderful Family with passion, professionalism and personal touch. Each guests welcomed and treated with care and love. Since I had my birthday on the weekend - we have received an upgrade to a beautiful suite which was full window, overlooking lake Lucerne, within the suite there was a jacuzzi. The location is quiet, yet, many things to do around. You can also take boat trip, go for a hike, etc. Within a hotel there is a fantastic restaurant - with great Chef and culinary, hospitality team - which is popular by locals and tourists equally. The food is amazing - we had Asian food. The breakfast offers healthy food with fresh local ingredients, from farmers near by - on the buffet menu: fresh cuts, various breads, cheese, fruits, vegetables, sweets, and hot drink and eggs offered everyone as per their taste. The Service Team is the Gem of this hotel - we were just humbled by the treatment of the Team. There is a safe, free underground parking with plenty of places. Thank you very much for the special birthday arrangement, the upgrade, the birthday cake, the kind celebration and chocolates. We are already planning our return trip and waiting to spend few days at the hotel. Our experience was magical, and exceeded our expectation. YvettGuest review byYvettGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 637 reviewsHotel Seeburg is about a 10 minute bus ride from the main downtown tourist area. The bus stop is immediately in front of the hotel and a local public transportation pass is included with the room. The room was modern and had a Nespresso machine and pods for coffee lovers. The bathroom was very nice with a tub / shower combo and outlets for curling iron or hair dryer. The lake is directly across the road with a large park like area that is actually a restaurant. We had a dinner of pizza and drinks after scanning the QR code on the table and placing our order on the phone. There is a large park area within walking distance, but it's far enough out of down town that you will have to take the bus.Guest review byGaryUnited States
- From $406.19 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 467 reviewsThey explained well how to get to the hotel when coming from other places like Lucerne. The hotel has a beautiful view, especially from the Mineralbad hot springs. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. We ate dinner at the hotel in the bar area and really enjoyed all of the food. Our server was engaging and friendly. The front desk workers were very pleasant and helpful. We had to leave the mountain very early to catch the ferry back to Lucerne. They helped me figure out the time we had to leave the hotel in order to make it to our destination in time for our pre-planned event.Guest review byNicoleUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 395 reviewsbreathtaking lake view from the room. walking distance to the Rigi Bahn station. delicious complimentary breakfast. Good for a one night stay if you plan to visit the Rigi Kulm and not want to rush back to Lucerne in one single day. it’s in walking distance to the Rigi Bahn station, and away from the tourist. Vitznau is cozy and quiet town. The rooftop restaurant across the street is pretty good, they follow fusion food using the local ingredients.Guest review byRuilinChina

Right on the lake, with lively terrace for breakfast, drinks/tea, dinner. By great good fortune, I had a corner room with a huge terrace. Truly, I did not want to leave. Clean, spacious, comfortable, great shower/tub! And views, views, views!!! Please read in the "negative " section where I refute some others' negative reviews. We stayed 4 nights and it wasn’t enough time.
We stayed 4 nights and it wasn’t enough time. I would highly recommend the transportation museum-it’s more like a destination. It’s also free with the Swiss Travel pass. Don’t miss the Lion Monument and Glacier Park that is next to it. Be sure to take a boat ride to relax and enjoy Lake Lucerne and visit Mt. Rigi along the way. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance for Mt. Pilatus due to weather-use the weather cams to check out weather at the top of the mountains. The Military Fortress is also a fascinating place to see and marvel at the location in which it was constructed, it might be chilly for some, but they provide coats if needed. So much more to see…next time!Guest review byLindaUnited States - 8.0

Ok so, Weggis is a beautiful little village but that is also it's problem, it's a little village. Activities were limited and so were the restaurants. I would recommended staying there as a "base" but then exploring the surrounding attractions.Guest review byMirhea AbdillaMalta - 10.0

Stoos is a very charismatic small village in the Swiss alps.
Stoos is a very charismatic small village in the Swiss alps. You get their only with the steepest funicular of the world, no cars in the village. During the summer season this village only attracts people for the famous (and very overcrowded by Instagrammers and Tiktokkers) Stoos ridge hike. It is amazing and has great views but you walk in line the whole way unless you are willing to really take the 1st chairlift up there. I am sure there are as nice hikes but less crowded ridge hikes in Switzerland. It was a reminder for us to never take travel tips from social media.Guest review byMichelNetherlands - 10.0
This city is a short distance from Lucerne.
This city is a short distance from Lucerne. There are frequent trains that go to Lucerne and further into Unterwalden. The main attraction in Hergiswill is the glass works and its museum and restaurant. There is a boat that stops there. One of its benefits is hotels that cost less than Lucerne Hotels and offer great views of the Lake. Consider it a suburb of Lucerne.Guest review byRamon - 10.0

The lake view from the hotel window, with the surrounding mountains, is vey beautiful. The mountain behind is a very nice "fitness" route. The view from the top of the mountain is even better than from the hotel, amenities include boat trips through the lake, a golf course on top of the mountain and a sky station next to the town.Guest review byJLOCAustria - 8.0
It's a nice village close to Luzern and Stans.
It's a nice village close to Luzern and Stans. You can easily get the train to Luzern or Engelberg and visit the Stanserhorn bahn or the Titlis bahn. Where you can ski, take in the beautiful views or do some walking. It is by the lake and there are some good restaurants close by and also by the lake with lovely views and good pizza! you can also take a nice walk around the lake too.Guest review byNicolaSwitzerland - 8.0

One of the most beautiful places in Switzerland, that is not very much known to international travelers, which means cable car prices here are way cheaper than for example Mont Pilatus. It has everything, the lakes, majestic mountain peaks, secluded Seelisberg See, the historical background. The shape of Vierwaldstättersee makes it looking like a fjord from above. I truly adore this area and I think it's highly underrated.Guest review byWentaoGermany - 10.0

Gorgeous city, extremely clean, and wonderfully kind culture. The food is fantastic and the language is beautiful. We brought our small children of 5 and 7 and the Swiss culture is very family oriented and children friendly, often prioritizing to ensure they are entertained at meals with crayons and coloring paper. The scenery is unlike anything you will ever see and the beauty is indescribable. So many places to visit and things to do. Not to mention the transportation methods are extremely convenient and free so long as the tax is paid within the city.Guest review byKirschner
