It is a beautiful English cottage in Puerto Natales. The place is very tastefully done by the couple who own and run the place - Carlos and Christina. They made us feel very warm and took very good care of us during our stay there. They made us a good breakfast every morning and even on days when we had to leave early for our excursions. They helped us with all the best tourist activities that had to be done at and from Puerto Natales. Felt like home. Absolutely lovely, wonderful and honest people. Very convenient place to take the navigation to Mirador Serrano Glacier.

Superb hotel on a hill just a few blocks from the city main plaza. I was a little bit worried about how to take our suitcases up to our room, because the hotel clearly states that rooms access is steps only, no elevator. But there is a kind of home made luggage lift. The hotel decoration is made of antiques about old farmers/artisans jobs. The restaurant (very good) has a terrace overlooking the city and beyond the strait of magellan, and then the Tierra de Fuego. Incredible view.

The hotel has a truly amazing location and a great view. This is very original architecture: as if hidden in the mountain slope or buried in the ground. The hotel was very comfortable. The room was large, well equipped and nicely designed. The hotel has free private parking. The breakfast was just great!!! The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful.

The guided treks and walks were interesting and we saw so many amazing animals, birds and landscapes. The riding excursion on the ranch with a gaucho was a highlight. This was one of the best hotels I ever visited. It has a unique enterieur with a lot of history that they perfectly preserved. The location close to the lake gives you an impressive view from the room we had and the bar and restaurant were breathtaking with a big fire in the cheminee. I haven't seen anything with such an atmosphere before

We stayed here after a week of hiking in Torres del Paine park. The hotel was a great haven of luxury and comfort after this hike. The staff were very friendly and all fluent in English. Small cozy town with lots of restaurants and small shops...

Small cozy town with lots of restaurants and small shops with souvenirs and handmade handcrafted articles. The artisanal villages are also nice to find beautiful local art and crafts. Go explore little restaurants they have excellent food from chile from delicious empanadas to king crab dishes like “Chupe” that are worth to try. We stayed at Casa Verde 10 minutes in the car from the city center. The owners were really friendly and we felt so welcomed there. Everything is this hotel is clean and comfortable. The bed amd bathroom were fantastic and the view from our room was unforgettable. The owners are korean and have a dinner menu to die for! We tried some dishes like bibimbap and bulgogi beef that were incredibly delicious. We are so happy we stayed here it made our trip more special and enjoyable.

My Experience in Punta Arenas My experience in Punta Arenas was wonderful. The city has a unique charm, combining history, culture, and the beauty of the southernmost part of Chile. I enjoyed exploring the local attractions and appreciated how welcoming and friendly the people were. The weather was quite chilly and windy, which added to the authentic Patagonian atmosphere. The views of the Strait of Magellan were stunning, and the overall vibe of the city felt peaceful yet full of character. Overall, my time in Punta Arenas was memorable and enjoyable. It’s a great destination for anyone who loves history, nature, and a bit of adventure at the edge of the world.

This is an exceptional park with its iconic mountains and lakes - and wildlife. Great hiking but come prepared for challenging mountain weather. Using a rental car was fine on the all gravel roads though care is required. Don't come with expectations of fine dining as the food available in this remote region is humble.

Small town with great food.

Small town with great food. The place i stayed was Yendagaia House and I highly recommend it. You can travel by road through Tierra del Fuego to see king penguins at Penguino Rey. The best kept secret here is the Parque Estromalitos. One of the few places in the world you can see them and it's just 10 minutes from this beautiful city.

Puerto Williams looks like it used to be more charming. Perhaps we came during the Christmas and New Years holiday, but nearly all of the shops and restaurants were closed. I heard that it never really bounced back after COVID, but I am hopeful that we were just there during a slow time, since some of the restaurants and shops looks really charming from the outside. A local told us that it's a combination of things. Cruise ships do stop here, so I am hopeful. However, we did walk around and get some snacks from the local market and sat with a wonderful view of the channel to enjoy our purchases. There were some cafes down near the wharf that we didn't have time to visit. All of the locals were very friendly and helpful. Knowing Spanish is a great help.

Cerro Castillo is a good compromise to stay to visit the park (It's around 45 minutes drive to the Torres Del Paine NP). From Puerto Natales it's 1,5 hours drive and within the park there are only very expensive or very basic (and still expensive) options for staying. You need a car (also in the NP) because of the distances and very limited shuttlebus options.

We say PN on three different days, while transiting for various activities -- a windy cold and rainy day, that was just about getting food and groceries before heading north to Torre Del Paine -- a sunny day, that was still very windy and cold -- and finally, a beautiful warm california like day, that was stunning for it's views (and I'm told rare). We enjoyed walking around town and buying some gifts. A day or two for a layover makes for a way to wind down from hiking. The airport is limited, but good. We enjoyed watching the ducks (or they might be black neck geese) in the water, the rabbits at Remota (Lodge).

Wish we could spend more time amongst the mountains and/or drive around exploring without having to worry about the lack of petrol station in TNP. The roads are mostly gravel with many many pot holes! Good to see sectors of the roads are being re-surfaced during our trip.

Charming town with lots of little shops for its size.

Charming town with lots of little shops for its size. We were here just after the tourist season which may be why so many were closed. But we came for the trekking which did not disappoint. The town is friendly and myself (49 male) and my 19YO daughter felt comfortable walking anywhere in town at any hour.
