It's a great hotel, probably the best in the region, and deserves 5-star status thanks to its management and staff. Excellent breakfasts and dinners, with a wide range of dishes. I liked the fact that even if the weather is not perfect for a walk you can spend your day at the hotel SPA area were saunas and pool are amazing. It is very spacious. Highly recommended ! The views from the windows round the hotel are beautiful, the facilities are the best of the best. Breakfast- comes with your booking, unlike most the choices for breakfast are catered to everyone. Even down to mini ( breakfast ) pizzas for children. Check in - the entrance is something I’ve seen in films, it’s beautiful would be stunning when surrounded by snow. Reception was long winded and they were admit that they needed to photograph my British passport, however was unable to give a reason. Shown to our room. Room- there is nothing that has not been thought off when it comes to the rooms here. The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are stunning, the view from our room was nothing I’ve seen before. Mini bar free to use with a selection of fizzy, water and some snacks. Plenty of hanging space and a laundry facility. Facilities- everything you need to relax after a day in the mountains wether that be in the summer and you wish to hangout in the outdoor pool in the winter after a day on the slopes there is the steam and sauna rooms to choose from ( 3 of them ) also a snow room for thouse so like a ice bath. Sun loungers and a few beds. Towels provided, Robes and slippers. Restaurant- plenty to choose from however the restaurant is a little pricey but the service was excellent as well as the taste. Over all the stay here was not far short of excellent, the location is very well placed as well.

A luxurious stay in a great location, close to the ski-resort and Krynica. All of the staff was very kind, friendly and helpfull. Very comfortable and spatious rooms. Truly delicious kitchen to keep your tummy satisfied all day long. Breakfast buffet with extremely wide selection of the most delicious meals. Free ski-shuttle service, wellness area, fitness gym...this hotel offers a wide variety of services and activities, too many to name them all in this paragraph.

Nestled in Transylvania, this restored set of Castles and the enormous estates & forest around it are a true natural paradise. Food was excellent as was the service. We stayed in one of the restored rooms of the Machine Room full of old world charm. They also have newly constructed rooms. We had wonderful bear sightings with the Ranger from the Estate

Overall experience was fantastic. I also done my full hike to Kasprowy Wierch - didn't really plan to use a lift up:). The weather could be worse but was up and down - mountains so what could I expect. I really want to go back but for a full season- too many people

Cluj-Napoca is the city where my fellow researchers in the field of biotechnical sciences live. The city itself is beautiful, but the people here are even more wonderful – both in spirit and appearance. I carry with me the most positive emotions after visiting Cluj, and I will surely come back again and again. A city with a soul, and a city of good people.

I come here every year for the International Peace Marathon...

I come here every year for the International Peace Marathon and I think that this fact says it all - i simply like this marathon weekends, the run itself, the atmosphere around... and there is always something historical to explore when there is some free time. Or not historical, but some interesting exposition in the Slovak technical museum.

Best location.

Best location. Ski and walk along the river right from your front door. Spas and pool is great with lots of small amenities. Everything is clean and stylish. Food is a bit expensive but in line with the rest of Bukavel. We will come again with more guests. Ive skied in 3 countries at over 20 different resorts.

Uzh is just a border town.

Uzh is just a border town. Better than many border towns but still not a whole lot going on. The Old Town, is quite pleasant. Most importantly, it is safe there. No homeless, no beggars, no thieves, unlike what you find in many western cities today. It's still just a town you go to, to get to somewhere else.

Beautiful little city with a few places to see such as Peles Castle, Pelisor Castle and the city center. The city center offers a lot of restaurants to choose from. You can also see the surroundings by going for a ride with the cable car up on the mountain (2000mtrs altitude).

Beautiful little village/town on the foothills.

Beautiful little village/town on the foothills. Much less crowded and touristy than Zakopane. If you don't need the buzz then Bialka is rather perfect I'd say: the trails and roads are still really close and the town has all the services and facilities you would want. Plus, it has some beautiful architecture.

Unfortunately no possibility to find restaurant with vegetarian options especially if you not really fancy to eat dumplings or pancakes every day. Zabka saved our life😁😁😁 That is the biggest disappointment of the trip. The only one restaurant which one offered vegetarian dishes changed menu after Magda Gessler kitchen revolution and now it is in horrible pig pink colour with a man waitress inside. Poor man was not very matched with the restaurant design 🤣🤣🤣also eating with the pink colour around it's not my cup of tea, by the way the restaurant was empty with no customers in.

Lovely area a little way from the busy centre of Zakopane although do expect a lot of traffic on the main road (wasn’t a problem though) as this is a year round holiday destination. Car parks can fill quite early especially at the weekend and be careful of cars if walking on roads where there are no paths.
