Pools were beautiful and the floor anywhere around always maintained white and dry.
Private beach which was perfect for snorkeling: on the right side there were amazing corals and all kinds of fish ( lion fish, stingray,puffer fish and fishes that r shiny and colorful like rainbows.) On the left side, you can find sea turtles and dugong, they come every morning.
Food was fantastic, they have different bread and pastries for breakfast, lunch and dinner. customized omletts and fresh pancake for breakfast. Freshly cooked pasta, kebab and sliced beef for dinner, and a lot of other dishes.

The room is big, clean and cleaned daily, all toileterries provided, terrace is wonderful, equipped and beautiful view inclusive of sound of the waves! 😊 The pool is big, area around is spacious and all staff is extremely kind and helpful. I liked that its stress free zone, no overcommunication but just as normal. They promote wellness and peace, have beautiful gardens and nice beach access with jetties.
Wonderful Karen's room, free fruit all day, clean water to drink, and many more details.
The two main highlights for me are - cuisine, that means kitchen and their staff! They are simply wonderful, dishes are carefully curated with daily selection and fresh, specific good tastes where you find adequate mix of traditional and modern. Yhe staff greets us for every meal and is wonderful to communicate with, always helpful and nice coffee on spot, desserts as well. The chef is great person and super kind!
Another one is Red Sea Project next to lodge, its a must visit!!! Their organisation, daily trips, knowledgable staff and commitment to values of nature, its preservation and no mass tourism is what striked us. We went to daily excursion to Wadi Gemal and half day excursion where we saw green turttle and dugong, its a lifetime experience and I well recommend you support their cause!
All in all, the fantastic 5 days ending to our two weeks trip, simply 5 stars!

Also the short is swallow and it's great with kids and there are more options for diving. The food corner was tasty and varied, there is international and Egyptian food.

HungaryThe hotel was great. Not luxurious, but extremely friendly, clean. The staff is polite, helpful, everyone smiles, I only think of everyone with love. The food was also satisfactory for us, it was always enough. They also brought a fruit plate to our room. It was my birthday the day after we left, but they brought a cake in the evening. There is a sandy part of the beach suitable for swimming and there is a coral wall from the pier. We have no reason to complain, in fact... I warmly recommend it to anyone who values friendly, pleasant relaxation over luxury. Excellent value for money. Thank you for everything MG Alexander.

I stayed with my family in two Deluxe Sea View rooms (1207 & 1208) from 21–28 August, on our first visit to Marsa Alam. The destination is perfect for anyone seeking relaxation, unspoiled nature, and exciting marine or safari activities.
Our stay at the Steigenberger Coraya Beach Hotel was an excellent choice for me and my family, especially since it was our first time at an Adults Only (18+) hotel. The experience was wonderful for anyone looking for peace and relaxation.
Every evening there are enjoyable theatre shows for about half an hour, as well as lively poolside parties, and if your stay includes a Wednesday, you will enjoy a fantastic Bedouin Night with a delicious Mandi dinner and traditional Bedouin shows that add a magical touch to the atmosphere.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the entire hotel team for their refined manners and elegant service. In particular:
Mr. Bahgat Abdelhamid for his professionalism, and constant presence to ensure guests’ comfort, always attentive and quick to resolve any remark. Reception team (Mr. Mina and Mr. Ahmed) for their kindness and responsiveness.
Of course, my gratitude goes to every member of the team without exception. It was truly an unforgettable stay, and I look forward to coming back again!

We really liked the perfect and professional approach of all the hotel staff, when I mean everyone I mean every member of this wonderful hotel. The waiters are always helpful, friendly and respond with a smile in every situation. They answer your every question even when they don't have to and they are busy.
The hotel service took our breath away with their creativity. The kids couldn't wait to see what artwork they would prepare for us.
The rooms are always fragrant, perfectly made up and room service greets you from afar with a huge smile.
Incredible experience, I would love to come back here again and again with all my family and friends.
I can only recommend this hotel.

It was very close to the Abu Dabab beach, which was one of the best beaches I've ever been to, with amazing snorkelling, sunbathing and diving opportunities, and some nice bars to get some cold beers. The rooms were clean, cosy, and comfortable, and the area around was full of flowers and greenery, which gave such a nice feel to the place. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, always making sure we were ok, and the food in the restaurant was great. This place is great for SCUBA divers or people who like to spend most of their time by the ocean.

We stayed in the tent and chalet. It’s a different experience but both are wonderful. Everything centred around and well organised for guests to enjoy underwater life to the max. The concept attracts a certain type of clientele, mostly divers, who are not there to party and make noise but to enjoy and respect nature. Wonderful to disconnect.

The staff is super friendly and provide you with a great service. The entertainment is on the high level, every day there was something interesting to see and the fire show in boho style was amazing! There are many activities you can make and the animators team will always assist you. A great bonus was to see almost no russians in the hotel!

The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya...
The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya bay, my husband and I were given a lift there by a golf cart. Alaya staff greeted us at the beach area ,attending to our needs. providing beach chairs, umbrella and bar service . The swimming are is great, water is clean and warm. Snorkeling and scuba diving is available. I did snorkel and it was a great experience.

Our stay at Porto Ghalib was truly enjoyable. The location is beautiful with direct access to the marina and a stunning beach. The room was clean and comfortable, and the food offered a good variety every day. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The snorkeling experience was amazing we even saw sea turtles, which made our trip unforgettable. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely come back again.

I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea goes. My favourite place of all time is the Concorde Moreen Hotel, with the Hilton coming a strong second.
We only ate at the hotels, because our time was limited.
I used the taxi service offered online by Booking.com, which I found to be very efficient and reasonable. But I am also a seasoned traveller in Egypt and do not find it difficult to negotiate with taxi drivers. (It can be very useful to ask Chat GPT first what an average trip should cost you, if you are unsure, and then use that as a guideline for your negotiations.)
It's an amazing experience to go out on a boat, but picking the right one can make the difference. I will be leaving my review on our experience separately (as it warrants a whole story on its own :))

Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing.
Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing. You can swim anywhere.
No so much facilities ( food places, supermarkets,..) and pharmacies located around hotels.
Weather is hot, limited gas stations and road is not preferable to be taken at night.

The sea was beautiful.
The sea was beautiful. Unfortunately strong winds kept me from going into the sea. We stayed mostly in the lagoons. There was no access to sea from the beach, only from the pier. The life guards were good and attentive.

Beach area we were in wasn't the greatest,no swimming area ,too shallow and rocky not sandy.Took quad ride out in desert was fun.Lots of fish to see on reefs,water very clean.marss Mubarak has resident dugong and turtles but didn't see the dugong on our visit.Overall nice place ,a bit on the windy side but nice relief from heat.

There are already so many wonderful things to do like snorkeling, diving, massages and especially the many activities offered by Captain Mahmoud's extraordinary team and the high quality shows performed in the evening. I mentioned everything in my review, what I liked and didn’t like. Mainly, I noticed that someone bought a quad bike tour, and they were taken just a little way behind the hotel to ride on a pile of sand for a short while. There was trash and plastic all around, a complete wasteland—nothing pretty. I’m used to greenery, which I understand is lacking in this destination, but I definitely wouldn’t buy an overpriced camel or quad bike tour. Especially because, in that heat, it wouldn’t be an enjoyable experience for me, and with the trash around, definitely not. I did a diving trip, but it ended up being canceled. Unfortunately, they made us leave our things (like backpacks) in a place where locals were moving around, and we had no way to secure them. The original plan was that we would be on a boat. In the end, it didn’t happen, and that was probably for the best. I booked the trip through Booking. I had no particular expectations, even though we were supposed to see dolphins. Eventually, I arranged for diving, and I enjoyed it. Since I’m already a diver, it was easy, but when I saw how they even turn diving into a business, it bothered me. I saw parents forcing their 12-year-old daughter to try diving. She was crying, didn’t want to do it, but the father insisted because it was paid for. I watched her struggle and feel uncomfortable. It saddens me to see that everything can be bought with money, and that’s just wrong.

The place is small but pretty, with nice bars and restaurants and lots of opportunities for excursions. The restaurants offer good food, but it's a bit expensive for Egypt; you can tell that tourists are expected to pay more than usual.
