Hotel very beautiful, in a central place of embrun. Room are clean and nice, the owner very kind. It's possible to park a motorcycle in a private box (under payment) just apart of the hotel. We didn't do a breakfast, but I saw the buffet, there was a lot of food!.

Thanks Sylvain for the reception when we arrived. Car parking was excellent. Super room. Great that breakfast starts at 7am (and runs until much later) - this was very useful as we had to leave early on our departure date.

Very stylish and comfortable hotel - extremely clean with everything we could have wished for. Breakfast was great - lots of variety and very tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful and prepared to go the extra mile to help. Parking on-site was a bonus and very convenient location for the Old Town (and the main town down the hill). We would certainly recommend this hotel and will return.

    it was our first time at the Hameau des Airelles and we’re planning our return already! we stayed in a comfort 2 bed apartment. it was very clean and our view on the mountain was incredible. The Ski in/ Ski out is excellent. you can join a beautiful blue run down to a couple of lifts or take the button lift just outside the door. there are great restaurants, après ski bars just outside the door, and the best boulangerie/ pâtisserie in town. Our apartment was warm and comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped. the entertainment, the kids club and games available at reception were a great bonus. we didn’t have time to try the pool, but it looked very inviting. the staff were all friendly and happy.

    We arrived frazzled and very late at night. The owner was absolutely amazing, could not have treated us better. He prepared a meal and brought it to the room and we were so grateful! France can be a bit biased to tourists, but this gentlemen treated us like we were family. The room was wonderful, the view beautiful and the dog adorable. Breakfast was substantial with eggs, cheese, pastries, fruit , yoghurt etc. We love you Hôtel & Spa La Ferme de l'Izoard and would happily stay there again for any length of time.

    Great hotel worth a detour; we would definitely like to come back and try the spa and the pool. Very nice personnel, and a comfortable room, very comfortable, spotless clean and offering a nice view.     Amazing location.

    Amazing location. The owners and staff were friendly, professional, and answered all our questions. The bar was great, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we've had. I hope we can go back to Briancon in the near future because it's so beautiful, and we'll certainly stay here.

    Gap is a lovely place, but I would never - ever - recommend...

    Gap is a lovely place, but I would never - ever - recommend the Hôtel Restaurant Pavillon Carina to ANYONE. It is almost 4 weeks since they ruined our overnight stay there and we had to find emergency accommodation elsewhere. We are still waiting for full compensation and refund and neither they or Booking.com have been any help WHATSOEVER.

    Its history was a surprise, having an enormous cathedral as testament to being an archbishopric covering about a quarter of what is now France, and delivering a pope, all around 1000 years ago. We were there height of season, and the better restaurants were almost fully booked in advance. It pays to plan !

    It is the best ski resort ever.

    It is the best ski resort ever. We have been traveling to different ski resorts in Europe for the last 15 years and this place amazed us with slopes variety. The skiing was wonderful, we did not search for “good slope or best root” like we usually did on previous resorts because there are so many of them that could be called the best :). Thermal SPA is an excellent bonus!

    Guillestre is small town which has all the features a visitor might need. There are numerous bars and small restaurants. The food in the Guillestrois was exceptional. There are numerous guest houses. There are several traditional shops and a supermarket. Evening entertainments are frequently held in the town centre during summer. There are several swimming pools and a cinema

    the hotel was on our route into Italy through a beautiful valley. It is obviously a place to stay in the winter when you come to ski but we were there in August. Plenty of walkers around and the views were stunning.

    The town itself is very small and well served. Quite but that might have been the time of the year. Good access and near good amenities. The ski runs are class but the off piste is what stands out. Lifts are good and restaurants although some very basic aren’t bad

    Great range of restaurants and shops with normal town prices rather than ski station premium rates. If you want rowdy aprez ski then Briancon is not the place. Bus service up and down the ski valley is reliable in morning and afternoon but less so during lunchtime and evening.

    Guillestre is a great place to stay if you want to go bike...

    Guillestre is a great place to stay if you want to go bike up the local mountains. All relevant Col's are really close. The starts of the Col de Vars and Col de Risoul are just 5 to 10 minutes by bike from the town. One thing to keep in mind is that in mid to late September, a lot of the restaurants are closing early (and fewer days open per week) and don't have all the food available that's on the menu as it's the end of the season for them.

    The people we met in the hotel and sports hire shop were friendly and helpful. The village itself is a very traditional looking French village, but like many of them has very few facilities. In the winter it gets no direct sunshine from mid-afternoon. The Nordic ski runs up the valley to Arsine are lovely and well looked after. The ski area at Arsine is quite lively and convivial, with people gathering there to rest and chat and go for a drink or meal after their skiing.
