The perfect stay in Crete. Great location, extrafriendly staff, good room layout, good size bathroom. Food was also excellent, with big portions. Beautiful pool, with a nice bar and restaurant. The beach and the river are also nearby. Everything was top notch. The jacuzzi in our room was a nice touch. The restaurant by itself is also high level.

Hotel is small and quiet. All girls who work there are just so nice, helpful and friendly. Location is very good, you can see very nice views to the mountains and to the sea. Breakfast is also good, warm food was different every day. Also you have opportunity to make healthy choices, not eat only white bread:)

My vacation at the hotel was incredible. The staff was most welcoming and helpful, the pools were clean, comfortable, and relaxing, and the food was great for breakfast and dinner. We got a free upgrade for the room and we had a wonderful time in our private Jacuzzi. Overall we had a lovely experience and a great vacation at the hotel.

Dear Manolis and the family, thank you for your pure Cretan hospitality! Very quiet and clean place, nice and helpful hosts, excellent service, generous breakfast made with love. The room and balcony were not quite spacious (greek size), but cozy and comfy. The beach, tavernas, shops, and free parkings, everything was nearby. Highly recommend!

    Miramare Resort has different kind of rooms and we received an amazing upgrade for our 1 week vacation there. Our room was clean and modern, with a small private pool outside!!! Fantastic!!! The view was breathtaking!!! Lola at the Reception was super kind and Nectarius was also helpful and professional. We did not use the hotel restaurant but we tried the near Meltemi & Gargadoros (few min walking distance), both very very good (overall the Greek food is delicious). And for a last drink of the day, we suggest To Votsalo (cafe' - bar) with a small lovely beach and fantastic view of the bay by night. To the other side of the Resort you will find the very nice Almyros Beach but if you have a car drive all the way to Voulisma (15min)!!! Maybe the best vacation ever had! Thank you Crete!

    You feel welcomed from the very first step in the hotel and during all the stay. Staff is just lovely! Very professional, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxing, and we feel so recharged after our vacation. Also the hotel is very children friendly, all staff members were communicating with our 2 y.o. kid. A lot of activities were proposed every day for adults and for kids, like zumba, yoga, swimming pool activities, and disco for kids. The food is very tasty with many options to choose from 😋

    lovely holiday spot, plenty of shops and restaurants, everyone extremely friendly and helpful. About an hour from airport, went to spinalonga and did a few walks, also did the 4 hour train ride which was lovely to see mountains, bit of history etc, wasnt too hot. Both of the bays were good and safe for swimming - one of them a bit pebbly getting in, the other was fine. Supermarkets well stocked. Elounda is flat so easy for walking although pavements a little bumpy. All very accessible and walkable

    The perfect place for peaceful vacation. The city itself is nice but not something extraordinary, but you get the best food in Greece alongside the best beaches in the World! Try Psarropoula, Kakkos and all other beaches in Ferma area. Make beautiful trips to Chryssi Island or Agios Nikolaos (30min), Siteia (45min), Vai, Oropedio Lasithiou etc.

    Visited at the beginning of October and a lot of places beginning to close for the season. Town quiet but pleasant. Unfortunately the ferry to Agios Nikolaos does not run anymore so it’s a long drive if you want to visit

    Mirtos is a small, very friendly village. Great tavernas and bars. Several local shops for necessities. Lovely beach but sea can be a bit rough at times. A trip up to the villages in the mountains is a must. Have travelled around crete for 30 years but the past 7, been coming here. Mirtos has stolen our hearts !!

    Tiny village with a great atmosphere. We attended to a traditional event, with cretese music and dances, and in the area you can find very interesting historical sites. The beaches are very close and nice (the coast is facing east, so there are no waves in case the strong wind is blowing). Our favourite beaches have been Kouremenos for windsurfing and Itanos/Paralia for swimming. The best restaurants we tried are Mythos in the village centre and Elia in the close village of Agathias that you can reach on foot in ten minutes. Pharmacy, restaurants, shops, markets. Here you can find all you need for a perfect stay!

    My Sea-Front room overlooking the Aegean Sea and the pool was amazing! Very clean and roomy! Anthi, the owner and manager, and her staff were so very friendly and welcoming!     The local restaurants are excellent.

    The local restaurants are excellent. We particularly liked the 'Natural foods' one at the turn off for Mocholos, about 4 km from the village. This is a classic family run taverna. However, those in the village were almost as good. In October the place is still lively and pleasant.

    Big sandy beaches. Good tavernas, we liked MeRaki. Istron is a "strip" of a village running along a main road. There are apartments and hotels up the hillside from the road, with not too much road noise. When rough you can hear the sea from your apartment. Apart from the beaches and eating places there is probably not too much else to do.
