Amazing new hotel, everything is just so stylish and gives a nice luxe feel. The staff is great. We got our room upgraded cause it was my friend’s birthday trip, thank you so much!! The pool area with cozy beds, the private beach zone, free smoothies were brought to your sunbed. I got a really good deal for this hotel but our experience was worth much more thanks to them ;)

It was our greatest pleasure to be guests in this hotel in the old town of Rethymno. The house is new and has very beautiful and extraordinary architecture, the rooms are all different and all very individual. The service from everyone in the team is very heartwarming. Breakfast should be mentioned in particular: different every day and always individually tailored to our wishes. Every day we were asked what we wanted for the next day and it was prepared specifically for us. It was brilliant. The communication in advance of our vacation to Stephanie and family has been very friendly and accommodating. Being a guest here made our already very nice stay very special. And lastly: Jacob is the Best!! Danke für alles!

Stella Luxury Apartments were our third stop on the island. Calming, pleasant, comfortable, in close proximity to the market, restaurants, bar and everything we needed. We stayed for three days, Agia Galini is an ideal starting point for exploring the surroundings, the nature in the south of the island is wild, unspoiled, the beaches are divine, we visited Tripetra, Matala and small villages in the hills. The owner Paris is a professional and pleasant conversationalist. We recommend it. The three days passed quickly, but we had to go to our next destination in the north of the island...

Apart from all 10 points above, I must say that fitness room is just wonderful, clean, spacious, with all necessary equipment. Service was excellent. Upon late arrival staff took care and left us some sandwiches in the fridge. Also, because of our honeymoon, we found a fruit basket with champagne and honey desert. When I asked if they had softer pillows, as I felt my pillow was a bit too hard, they delivered to the room a soft and comfortable pillow for me straight away. Overall, everything was just perfect: cleaning, service, beach. I don’t think you need more for a perfect and relaxing vacation. We will come again! Thank you!!!

The hotel is in the perfect location - one step outside the door and you’ll be soaking up all the atmosphere of Rethymno’s old town! The standard room we booked was spacious, comfortable and very pretty. It was perfect and had everything we needed! The team is really lovely. Athena made sure our room was ready for an early check-in. On top of that, they were welcoming and friendly to talk to. Thank you for making our stay even more special than it was! For now - it's my favourite all inclusive hotel. I've been to many all-inclusives in other countries, but this hotel, it exceeded my expectations. Maybe I didn't expect anything, I thought “at least they would feed me and there would be no russians” but here we came and every day we said that this is incredible hotel and it has a place in our hearts. Here is some info: 1) This is an adult hotel. And that says it all. This is WOW. When you want to relax, to have a quite place, to swim quietly and read a book, this is the perfect place. Sometimes it seemed to us that people were whispering to each other when they were lying on the sun loungers so as not to disturb others. And overall, I liked the hotel guests, no drunk and shouting people, but polite and calm people. 2) Staff. Well, this is a separate love. We often talked to animators and bartenders. They are so cool and nice people. We already miss you Stelly, Chris, Alex, the cool lifeguard at the pool and the bartenders. The kitchen and restaurant staff - you are just beyond praise, you are super professionals! 3) Room. We had a junior suite. Very well maintained, beautiful and stylish. Had everything we needed. Very clean and cool view from the terrace! 4) Food. OMG!!! How delicious and varied it was! I don't like oatmeal, but here I ate even it :)) I liked absolutely everything. There are evenings of different cuisines, for example, Greek, Italian, Asian, etc. There was always different meat, every day there was some kind of fish, and sometimes a whole aquatic kingdom (tuna steaks, salmon, shrimp, octopus, mussels, and other types of fish). Sweets are just the top. Lots of fruits, vegetables, salads, pizza, pasta, soups and much more. As for drinks, we used to buy water in the store. The taste of beverages from the machine - like salt water. Cocktails also have a slightly salty taste, so we ordered a Prosecco. 5) Hotel.

TL/DR: the staff was the friendliest I have ever seen. Everything was sparkling clean. The food was great. The all inclusive package is a must have Now a more detailed review: We made a huge mistake by NOT getting the all inclusive pack, and had to go out every day for lunch or dinner. There's a few restaurants within a 15/20 minutes walk, but under a scorching sun that was not worth it. The paid/specialties restaurants in the hotel are too fancy, too expensive and often had to be reserved in advance, so that was not an option. The only one we went to was the one by the beach. The staff was always friendly. Even under a 40/110 degree heat everybody was happy to be there. That made an experience much more agreeable in the entire hotel. At night there would be entertainment in two places. Usually a more cruise ship like dancing or a band playing. And by the pool there would be a more laid back band playing. The whole place felt vibrant and has a 100% family vibe to It. Lots of kids playing in all places. The hotel has a convenience store with basically everything you need. It runs from 8 to 10 every day, and the staff was also super friendly. We would gladly be back, but now with the all inclusive package.

A nice hotel that pleases with its quality as soon as you enter it. The check-in procedure is just great, I have never seen such service anywhere else. There is no need to stand in line for check-in, they take the documents and tell everything in detail about the hotels at the table with drinks. The overall impression of the hotel is very positive. The area is large, very clean, the food is delicious and varied, the children have their own table with healthy food. The private sandy beach is protected by a stone ridge, so it is still safe to swim there with children in strong winds and waves. The water park is suitable for all ages, both small and large. There are many rescuers who keep order. The hotel has a lot of staff and attention to guests, we did not stand in queues at the bar, the waiters worked quickly, everything is very clean. Free self-service laundry. I highly recomended this hotel for families with kids.

Lovely old town to walk around, some historic sights, welcoming and friendly people. Great choice of restaurants. Easy to get around by walking; don’t bother with the hop on hop off bus, the town sights are walkable and the out of town sights accessible by taxi. Myli Gorge is very pretty.

The town is just the right size — not too big.

The town is just the right size — not too big. Its rural and local character really comes through; we even watched goat herders at work just nearby. There’s a good variety of restaurants and several shops. For those with limited mobility, there’s a convenient flat sidewalk running along the beach. If you’re willing to drive a short distance, there are plenty of stunning beaches to choose from depending on the wind direction. It’s an excellent location for beach life and all kinds of water activities. At Paralia Souda, there was also an aid for wheelchair users to get into the water — provided they’re able to transfer into the seat. There’s also lots to do nearby — one tip is to hike up to Saint Paisios Church or visit the nearby mountain villages with their amazing views towards Plakias (see the photo).

Adorable, quaint and full of charm.

Adorable, quaint and full of charm. At night the village centre close the roads, bring out the tables and chairs and the streets are filled with the sights, smells and sounds of Cretan joy. One of the places I will miss the most and can’t wait to return too.

A small vibrant fishing village which offers plenty of restaurants and accommodations. The beach is clean but a little small. Water is clean with access via a short walk from the village centre. It is quite hilly and may present problems for certain visitors. Evenings are very lively with many restaurants and some shops. It is centrally placed for journeys to others beaches and destinations such as Matala, Spili and so on.

Perfect hotel for a one-night layover.

Perfect hotel for a one-night layover. Relatively new facility with all the essentials. Beds and pillows were perfect, how shower, A/C, parking....very clean too. As a bonus there's a great restaurant serving authentic meals and a nice buffet breakfast too. Friendly people.

Our main. reason for visiting the area was because we were attending a wedding. I did find that Adelianos Kampos was located near to a lot of pick ups for tours around Crete to allow you to experience other areas around the island. Many places to eat around the area, but none that really stuck out for me that I would recommend. Just walk around the area because there is much to choose from.

I really like Platanes, it's not too far from the busy Rethymno centre and slightly more relaxed than being near the main areas, but still has nice restaurants and beach bars etc. and good access to main roads etc. if you like to get out and adventure without getting stuck in congestion, which can sometime be found neare to centre.

Very near the sea. 2 very good supermarkets, bakery and chemist. Good restaurants. Not hectic busy so excellent for relaxing break.Local villages of Asteri and Chamalevri within walking distance. As is Pagkalochori which has Asani monastery. Wonderful authentic Cretan experience.

Spílion is a beautiful little town full of charm and...

Spílion is a beautiful little town full of charm and character. The stone architecture, natural springs, and peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect place to relax and enjoy authentic Crete. The local people were friendly, the food was delicious, and the views of the surrounding mountains were stunning. A lovely stop if you're exploring the island!

The most confusing streets i have ever used.

The most confusing streets i have ever used. In the old town they are very interesting and and very narrow so in peak season I imagine they get very crowded. You will get lost walking in the old town but then so did the other guests staying in the hotel. The town was very clean and so was the beach. Very impressive indeed. It felt safe walking around lost in the old town.
