Hotel Auris is located in the heart of the city, just a 5-10 minute walk from the main city square. The young receptionist, was extremely courteous and helpful. The room was clean, beds comfortable, and the bathroom warm and spacious. The breakfast was apsolutely worth the extra cost. Certainly, I would come again!

Big working desk. WiFi works excellent. The bathroom has everything that you need for your comfort. The hotel is situated in a very quiet neighbourhood. The breakfast was excellent. You have a huge choice of cheese, meat products, English breakfast, typical Hungarian breakfast food, ..., excellent start of the day!

We really this place! The room was very spacious and nicely decirated. The breakfast was enjoyable as well. The receptionist offered us maps and recommended a lot of nice restaurants. This place is very close to rhe city center, maybe 10 minutes walk I'd say.

I have stayed long term in Szeged but this was my first time in RIVA. I chose it as it is near the station and had high scores. It was an amazing place; it's a hotel but the room is like an apartment and beautifully decorated. It is prettier than many apartments I lived in and for less cost than so many hotels. I slept so well and would recommend this lovely boutique where the staff go out of their way to make your stay personal. It is right by a bar selling healthy drinks and snacks too.

The location was perfect. A short walk to bars and restaurants. There is a tram that runs directly outside but I did not check where tge closest stop was. The rooms are very spacious with two huge double beds made as one which have great sheets and pillows. One of the best sleeps I have had. The bathroom was fab. Great shower and toiletries. It was a really really clean room, bathroom and hotel. The breakfast was very nice too. A must place to stay.

The location is amazing and super quiet, there's a lot of wildlife going on. We saw rabbits and deer in the nearby forests and fields. The pool was very nice with an unexpected, pleasant bar service. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and the yurta in the inside looks just like in the pictures with comfortable beds and an amazing view on the stars through the roof window. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Highly recommended.

I was amazed by the peace and quiet of the place.

I was amazed by the peace and quiet of the place. There was traffic, I mean Szeged is a big city, but you couldn't hear anything. Beautiful parks and nice walks by the river. Don't forget to visit a cava to buy some local Hungarian wines. Szeged has perfect small cafés, where you can enjoy a dessert and a cup of tea or coffee. A visit to a local restaurant is a must. Gulasch soup is a trademark dish, but we were pleasantly surprised by the fish dishes, fresh from the river and cooked to perfection.

The town is nice and very clean and it has enough to offer, even in winter. The not-so-good aspect is that it is rather quiet in the evening, so it is not recommended for people who seek entertainment throughout the night. However, Szeged is rather close, so this problem could also be solved easily.

Hot springs were the best curative ever experienced. 20+ pools Restaurant is one of the best for an authentic Hungarian road house food experience. Staff are friendly. Room and facility was clean. Room was a bit small but comfortable. Locals told us there are 2 other local hotels with equal or higher ratings, but are not worth their prices.

A peaceful place to walk along the river after a busy day to contemplate in the silence of the willows and gently push the water. There is no place to have an early morning coffee or an evening drink by the river. The place is neat and clean! Miraculously there are no mosquitoes. Meals at the hotel were quite enough because I didn't have time to go around too much due to work.

A quiet and cozy city with many interesting monuments, both commemorating tragic events and simply charming street art. I recommend strolling through the Pantheon with its busts of musicians, scientists, and historical figures in Dom Square and the museum of giant computers from the last century.

Close to Szeged, to Romanian border and to Serbian border. One day I was in Serbia, one day in Romania, nice to see 3 total different culture. From Mako good public transport connection in this 3 points.

Place is very small, nothing much to see.

Place is very small, nothing much to see. Everybody is coming for the Spa. And Spa is GREAT! Still, I liked it, I needed peace and quite, for that was perfect. There is no exchange office anywhere, that's a bit disapointing. Still, you can pay everywhere with card. It's cute, but not expect much activities. Restaurants are good, not expensive, nice food.

Szeged is a great place.

Szeged is a great place. Lovely old buildings, the river, the bars and restaurants are great and generally its cultural activities are also very good. The location as such was chosen by us precisely for those reasons. Our mishaps at the hotel were not the town's fault. We ate dinner at the John Bull, which has fantastic food and excellent beers and wines. The service was great there and it was at walking distance from our hotel. Local transport is great. Cheap and frequent. But you can walk to practically everywhere, including the river and its other side.
