Had an excellent experience. Good location a bit apart from the main strip, calm and quiet. Cleanliness is very much above the average compared to regular Indian hotel’s picture of “cleanliness”. Rooms are neat and comfortable to stay in. Staff is doing their real best to provide guests with caring and thoughtful service. Nice breakfast that would keep us full for at least half a day. Pool is tiny but still just enough for a morning or night refreshing swim. Any services requested would be provided, any issues would be handled. Booking pictures match what you actually find in the hotel. Located right between Calangute and Candolim, you can take a bus or taxi or bike ride to wherever you need quite easily. I’d recommend considering this place for you stay in Calangute.

An initial stay of 3 nights turned into 3 weeks, making Mandrem Beach Resort our home away from home in Goa. We first chose it for the location and quality, but it went beyond that. The food was delicious and it was a great experience to try some of the Goan dishes. But above all it was the kindness, helpful mindset and genuine friendliness of the staff that made all the difference. It started with the heartfelt greeting from the security guard at the entrance and on the beach side. In the reception Vishweta, Saurav, Kashmira, Rajashree and the others were always very helpful and friendly. Our meals were made better by the friendliness and helpfulness of Shaun, Gurunath, Rushikesh, Zeenal, Figo, Abhijit, Puja and Mario. The laundry service was excellent with a special thank you to Vishaka. Last but not least our dear friends at the pool Bejami and Ajay who always welcomed us with a smile.

The outside territory is well-groomed. - The room was good - it had private balcony and all necessary facilities, daily cleaning - Good breakfast (eggs, tosts, butter, jam, coffee/tea) - The staff and the host were very nice and supportive, they helped to solve many problems, even nontypical ones. From the moment we arrived at The Park Calungate Hotel, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality and impeccable service. It was a delightful surprise to be personally greeted by the General Manager at check-in, a touch that instantly made us feel valued and welcome. This commitment to exceeding expectations was mirrored by every member of staff we encountered. A special mention must go to Sukhdev, the Food and Beverage Manager, whose attentiveness and dedication to ensuring our dining experiences were flawless truly elevated our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for him or indeed any of the staff; their polite and helpful demeanor was consistent throughout our visit. Our room was a haven of comfort and tranquility. Spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully appointed, it provided the perfect retreat after days spent exploring or relaxing by the pool. Speaking of which, the hotel's location is idyllic. Situated directly on the beach, with the soothing sounds of the waves just steps away, it offered a sense of serenity while still being conveniently close to local amenities. The culinary offerings at the Calungate Park Hotel were simply outstanding. The Christmas Day brunch was a magnificent feast, a true celebration of flavors and festive cheer. But honestly, every meal was a delight, from the beautifully presented breakfasts to the delicious à la carte options. The quality and freshness of the food were evident in every bite. The Park Hotel provided us with an unforgettable experience. It was the perfect blend of luxurious comfort, exceptional service, and a stunning location. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return for another wonderful stay.

Everything worked as expected and was well organized. It looks like this is a nice place to work at. The atmosphere among the staff seemed very positive. You can’t fake that. Not just calangute...entire north goa is a hype in the...

Not just calangute...entire north goa is a hype in the social media. Terrible traffic and congested roads...you will waste most of your time travelling. Even 2km distance takes 30 o 40 mins . Very noisy beaches with filthy food and drinks overcharged and simply looting the tourists. Always check the price of the food and drinks in case you decide to eat something from the beach restaurants. Conclusion - south goa is the best and agoda fort/beach truly picturesque. Stay in south and just visit 1 or 2 beaches in the north preferably in the early hours (6 to 7am) and come back.

Traffic is a nightmare. Trying to cross the Main Road pretty much anytime of the day is an experience. First i've visited in many years but never remembered it being that bad. Good food everywhere though

It is not easy to get around Anjuna, everything is very...

It is not easy to get around Anjuna, everything is very spread out and at night the wild dogs are quite agressive which I struggled with. I enjoy walking, but here you need to have a car / scooter or take lots of taxis. The market was good, we ate in nice restaurants like The Tanjore Tiffin (a bit more up market and we loved it), MS Slow Tide and Pirates Cafe on the beach. We also had a night out in Juna nightclub - good fun with great cocktails. Overall I didn't like Anjuna much, we were there in the low season and we struggled with getting around and all the dogs. It really depends what you're looking for, but for me Candolim was a better location and we left Anjuna early to return there.

The home-style food was delicious, and the setting allows you to fully immerse yourself in nature. The rooms are huge. A key thing to note is that the road to the hotel is very narrow and can be difficult to drive on in the evening. We highly recommend planning your travel to arrive in daylight.

Good locality.

Good locality. Not very close to busy side of Calangute and Baga. Not very far which is secluded. It is apt location as within 10 mins you can be on beach and busy place and can come back in quiet location for peaceful vacation. Also, for basic needs you have few stores nearby so you can manage easily with some restaurants nearby.
