We have planned for good family trip at privacy place. We experienced the same what we expected, lovely stay, pleasant environment, swimming pool is well maintained, staffs are exceptionally awesome and helpful for first time visiting Pondy. Hotel Annamalai International is a luxury 4-star hotel located in the heart of Pondicherry. The hotel offers the best facilities and caters to both leisure and business travellers. It is just a few kilometres from the clean beaches of Pondicherry. It is well-connected to the bustling urban life of the union territory. I had the opportunity to stay in this hotel with my aged mother and my spouse for two nights (20th & 24th Jan2025) recently. All three of us are senior citizens and in particular mother was about 90 years old needing wheelchair services. Right from our arrival (on both occasions) the hotel provided us with excellent services including complete assistance with their wheelchair services whenever required. The hospitality shown by their reception, house keeping and room service staff were excellent on both the occasions. The room allotted to us (on both occasions) was spacious and clean with a good view. The toilets was very clean and comfortable. The room was provided with sufficient quantity of tea/coffee ingredients in the coffee maker table, toiletries, linen etc The room service was on time and the food served was very good. Excellent ambience was present in the lobby, the staircase and the corridors. An attractive transparent lift was also present in the hotel. Though the hotel is a roadside establishment, the double layer sealed soundproof glass panels ensures noise free environment inside the room. Overall, our stay in this was very comfortable, safe and memorable. I will definitely recommend this hotel for a safe and memorable family stay. Good show.

The pool area was fantastic, location great, right near the centre of Pondy and all the facilities. Staff were very courteous, polite and helpful. They allowed me to check in early, kept my bags safe for me upon check out, and gave me a number for a taxi service to Chennai. Also, one of the best (if slightly pricier, but worth it) laundry services I had in 3 months of travel. Love this place. Definitely coming back if I ever pass through Pondicherry!

The breakfast was excellent , it had a continental and Indian selection which was delicious . The fresh fruit and Juice was a nice finish to a scrumptious breakfast. The room was of a large size , clean and comfortable and room service was excellent.

Aurivill beach least crowded. Local market is cheap. White town expensive they charge double price for 1 l bottle, couple photo happens generally here. I tried gelato and waffle it wase awesome. We stay for 2 days and I think it's enough to visit pondicherry. Rock beach people will approach you for mangrove forest motor boat ride.

Mahe is a small town between Kozhikode and Kannur. The Mayyazhi river is very scenic especially where it enters the sea. People and nice and helpful. Food options are limited with very few good restaurants.

A beautiful temple for some specific reason. The location needs to be maintained. The temple tank area is so dirty. Not sure if we can blame the management, ideally the visitors also need to be responsible enough not to dirty the place. The temple tank needs cleanups and the area around it needs to be garbage free.

Beautiful and relaxing.

Beautiful and relaxing. Friendly staff and very beautiful lavish greenish gardens with children play area. Great relax playing basketball, volleyball and shuttle. Felt secured silent peaceful stay with great hospitality from the manager Siva. Sure, I'll visit again and recommend to my friends and families.

I visited, Rock beach, Paradise beach, Eden beach, all are very beautiful and maintained well. Visited all the churches around, and the museum at the French colony, all was good . More maintenance and cleaning of the beaches can be done ... Eating places are few couldn't find, maybe locals would know better... Pondicherry is relatively small, and its easy to get around the place Spending more time at the beautiful beaches is great thing to do with the children Otherwise the place is really beautiful!

Made wrong decision to choose perl mahe. Poor customer care. Denied breakfast included with fair. Receptionist says we never served breakfast ever. Requested to clean the room in the morning and done after 10 at night when I came back to get some sleep. Rude receptionist. Staff are never trained into the hospitality industry. Without begging Customer won’t get any service. In the middle of the night ringing on the service line to disrupt the sleep. Never recommend to others. Worthless.

French time buildings / beaches / 90 degree roads / well planned city and obvious the people. We can find lots of foreigner in this city with more friendly people. Small city filled with all amenities to choose the options on your own. Places for adult / elders / childrens at one destination. This place is connected to all major cities in the south. Well educated people and lot of educational institutions available here either engineering or medicine or art & science.

Not much to do here unless you plan to stay and drink at the millions of wine shops and bars. The Tagore Walkway was nice, the little park at the base of the lighthouse was okay. Its a slightly depressing town of mostly drunk folks stumbling about, with cheap booze and cheap fuel due to the union territory tag I guess.
