I recently stayed at this hotel and had an exceptional experience. The location is perfect, allowing easy access to local attractions and amenities. The terrace is amazing, offering stunning views and a great place to relax. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Giulia, who went above and beyond in assisting us with table bookings. She also prepared a lovely surprise for my boyfriend's birthday, which made our stay even more memorable.

Here’s a polished, heartfelt review you can use: ⸻ Our stay at Umiltà 36 in Rome was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel’s location is unbeatable—just steps away from iconic sights, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and exclusive. The breakfast each morning was outstanding, with high-quality selections and impeccable service that set the tone for the day. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was our room with the large terrace. It was the highlight of the hotel for us—a beautiful, private space that felt like our own corner of Rome. I want to extend a very special thank you to the concierge team. I had a unique and very important request, as I planned to propose to my fiancée on our terrace. The team handled every detail perfectly, with such care and dedication. Thanks to them, the moment was more magical than I could have imagined. Umiltà 36 will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. A truly extraordinary hotel. 💛

We loved the location - the setting of Aeneas Landing is stunning and hard to beat. The cabins on the beach (where we stayed) are so close to the sea, and it's lovely to hear the waves. The architecture of the resort is really special and distinctive - we particularly love the pool and bar area. All of the planting and garden spaces are gorgeous. The beach is well-maintained and perfect for relaxing on. The breakfast is amazing - the best cornetti I've ever had in Italy! Honestly wonderful. We also had lunch in the restaurant one afternoon. I am from the area and find the prices very inflated, but what we had (3 contorni) was delicious. One evening, we had some family come to visit us at the bar. We all had one (expensive) drink, but the staff brought out an incredible spread of aperitivi snacks. A nice touch.

Most of all, the staff - the ladies on Reception (Francesca especially) were delightful and so helpful when we decided to stay on for an extra night. The restaurant staff achieved the perfect balance between being friendly and yet professional. The beach is fantastic, the food is great, my room had a balcony with sea view - couldn't have asked for more really. The location between Gaeta and Sperlonga is perfect for visiting either town. The lifts all over the hotel made getting around so easy.

Really nice camping in the shade of old trees. The bungalow was well equipped, clean. The kitchen was equipped with all necessary equipment. Small terrace had barrier, so kids/dogs can't run out. The mini market had fresh bread and basic groceries. The beach is nice, clean, part with dogs is just next to the non-dog area. Both has umbrellas and sun beds.

Great position, comfortable to reach the nearest point of interest, but isolate enough to not have groups of people roaming the beach. It is still not high season so it may change. Please go to the restaurant...at least once is amazing 😁.the structure is clean and cozy even in my single room.

It is an amazing city that you never finish exploring!

It is an amazing city that you never finish exploring! I found it much cleaner than in other occasions, although I never let this cloud my view of the city. We bought the Italia Pass, which at first thought it was expensive per person, but actually was very useful and convenient and saved me a lot of money! I went with my family and "kids"... We are all adults in my group so we enjoyed the historic Rome, food, wine and just "il bel far niente". We speak Italian, but not fluently, and I observed that many Italians speak English and/or Spanish, which helped a lot!

Just 15 mins from the airport,I'd say worth a longer visit. Lovely Italian ambiance and good restaurants along the promenade. A train into romevtakes about 45 mins soo I'd stay here as a Base and enjoy the travel experience. Local Italian life much more interesting than the typical tourist zone.

Ostia could have nice promenade by the sea, but there are walls, some abandoned restaurants and beach facilities and a lot of trash. You can walk by the sea only on a small part of coast near marina. We were there for 2 days before the cruise. The restaurants along the beach seem to be tourist traps. The Sealovers House is where we stayed, was disappointing. No hot water and a broken elevator on the 3rd floor. The MyLord restaurant was a fail. My pasta was so salty I couldn't eat it. The waiter didn't care. I feel like the area is taking advantage of a good thing they have at the port, for consumers. On a good note, the waterfront is beautiful. Convenient for a cruise out of Rome. Good Luck!

We stayed in Pomezia because of the short distance to Rome and FCO airport. There are also a lot of good affordable restaurants in Pomezia. Also, my son and I enjoyed the go-kart racing at the Parco 51 shopping center. There is also an outlet mall and theme park close by that we enjoyed.

During my visit to Gaeta, I was truly impressed by several places in this charming coastal town. I especially loved walking along the seaside promenade and the beautiful avenue of plane trees—it was very relaxing and scenic. The old town with its colorful streets and historic buildings was also a highlight. For a quick bite or a casual meal, there are plenty of great options. I particularly enjoyed the local cafés and restaurants where you can try fresh seafood and traditional Italian dishes. There are also small grocery stores nearby if you prefer to grab something on the go. Getting around Gaeta is quite easy. The town is compact, so most places can be reached on foot, and it’s very pleasant to explore the streets at a leisurely pace. For families with young children, I would highly recommend visiting the beaches, which are clean and safe. A walk along the promenade or a visit to the Spanish Fortress on Monte Orlando is also fun and manageable with kids. The town has a relaxed atmosphere, making it perfect for families to enjoy both sightseeing and leisure time together.

Frascati is a small, pleasant town with a good range of bars, restaurants, cafes and gelateria. A taxi from Ciampino airport takes 20-30 minutes and costs €50-60. It is a particularly good place to stay if you want to be near Rome but not actually staying in the city. Eating out is much cheaper and the town is relatively quiet and relaxed. As a bonus, the transport links are excellent. Rome is just 30 minutes or so by train from a small station right in the centre, with trains every hour on weekdays and every two hours on Sundays. And nearby places of interest such as Castel Gandolfo, Ariccia and Velletri, are accessible by regular buses from the main square (Piazza Marconi).

We stayed in Fiuggi as our daughter was staying in the same area for her college football tournament. We ate at a few nice restaurants - bistro and GoGo. Would recommend visiting here for an evening meal. There is a bar across from the hotel - lots of different beers to try. Lots of bars and shops in close proximity to each other. Accessible by foot. Supermarket well stocked with lots of basic essentials.
