FAQs about hotels in Veneto

Inspiration for Artist and Architect

The Veneto offers relaxation and recreation in world-famous cities and wonderful landscapes. Words don’t do justice to its ever-serene capital Venice, a captivating maze of canals and monuments. Cheap hotels in Venice are scarce, but Mestre across the lagoon offers more budget options.

Cheap flights to Venice land in Treviso, a little version of that fabled city. Also centred on canals is beautiful Chioggia, home to several Veneto hotels on the beach. Yet more are in Caorle, near its distinctive 11th-century bell tower and waterfront church. Another family-friendly Veneto resort with a long beach is Lido di Jesolo.

In studenty Padua, Giotto’s 14th-century frescoes in the Scrovegni Chapel are bursting with colour. The majestic Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza was designed by Palladio, the prolific architect whose villas and churches cover the Veneto. Romantic Verona inspired Romeo and Juliet and has an incredibly well-preserved Roman arena hosting summer opera.

Nearby Lake Garda offers many luxury hotels in the Veneto on Booking.com. By its eastern shore is the popular Gardaland theme park, the elegant Garda promenade, and the wineries of Bardolino.

Grappa was invented in riverfront Bassano del Grappa, and nearby Asolo is one of the region’s most beautiful hill towns. Belluno is overlooked by the Dolomites, while Abano Terme is a spa town by the Colli Euganei, whose undulating hills house vineyards.

Even though it was mid-April, the camp had lots of services open, including the Kids Club, pool, and animal park (although the park wasn’t open during our stay due to weather.) The on-site restaurant was nice! Our building had many nice features: good showers, nice kitchen, and the stand out was the lovely hot tub with lake view! Our kids enjoyed the mini club and the on-site store was very well-stocked.

Yet another great experience at this hotel for our family and god. Location is great and very convenient. Loved the new path to the beach - peaceful and not too busy (positive change since our last visit back in 2022). Special thanks goes to HB experience, this was above our expectations - well done! Our most favourite place was anywhere near the grand canal, specially the Rialto and Academia bridges. We liked the Cicheti at Birreria Zanon in Cannaregio, near the Jewish Ghetto. The Chinese food at Oppa Ristorante coreana e cinese near Santa Lucia station. To get around Venice you cna purchase the Vaporetto 24 hour/48 hour pass, and hop-on hop off the water buses, but best way to explore Venice in my opinion would be by foot. Go into small alleys, get lost and then come back. Enjoy every moment, Venice won't bore you. In my next visit, I'd keep one full idle day without any agenda or site-seeing, but just roam around here and there.

Padova was a really interesting city with several UNESCO world heritage sites (book ahead). It was very easily walkable to all the heritage sites, bars, restaurants and other attractions. Shopping and the markets were great and prices were excellent. I loved the Kiss of Judas live exhibition all over the city and the exhibitions at the various Palazzos. - I was amazed to see original Picasso paintings at the Palazzo Zabarello, along with Joan Miro and many other notable artists. The city is a day trip away from Venice so the middle of the day can be manic!

Treviso is worth a visit if you are near or close to Venice.

Treviso is worth a visit if you are near or close to Venice. It's a very walkable town with ancient roots and lots of great shops and places of interest. We were mostly stayed within the city walls chose a neighborhood with amazing shops, cafes, and restaurants. It also felt more diverse in population than some of the other towns we visited - both in age and ethnicity (probably due to the local university and the fact that the city also hosts a lot of study abroad programs). Some memorable places we went to include * Cathedral of St. Peter the Apostle (a/k/a the Duomo) * Osteria Dalla Gigia for a quick bites/small snacks (highly recommend the mozzarella in carrozza if it's available) * Toni del Spin - a trattoria with a great wine list * Mangiafuoco - a lovely children's shop that specializes in paper mache, wood, and fabric toys and decor * Noberasco 1908 dried fruit specialty store (the slightly sweetened dried orange slices are like no other) * Camelia Bakery

We were there in the shoulder period . Was a nice paced smaller town . Great weather without being too hot or cold . We hired E bikes and ride everywhere on little day trips . Very easy and safe to get around . The owner gave restaurant tips which were all great . Warning , be careful of Gypsy’s … we got taken for 40 euro by two very convincing girls with clipboards and signatures pretending to be deaf !

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Terme Venezia. The highlight was definitely the breakfast and dinner, both of which were excellent and offered a great start and end to the day. The hotel also allows guests to enjoy the pool until 11:00 PM, which is perfect for a relaxing evening swim. Overall, it’s a great choice for those who value good dining and extended pool hours.

We wanted a place close to the Venice airport and it is. The room was clean. Think we might have been the only people there for one night in the second week of October. A reasonable walk to the restaurants. We appreciated parking on the property. Access was as shown on the site they provided in their text message to us.
