There is so much to see in Tokyo and it’s a Vibrant city.
There is so much to see in Tokyo and it’s a Vibrant city. We only had 60 hours so went to TeamLab: Planets. The imperial Palace and Gardens. A history museum. A MiPig cafe. The Shibuya Scramble Crossing. Shopping in Ginza and Shinjuku and for secondhand high end merchandise such as Chanel, the Sumo Wrestlers training gym for another free viewing of them working out and in practice, and up the Government Building tower for a free 360 degree vista of the nighttime city and to view projected films on its outside walls while lying in the park outside. The shopping in the stations was amazing particularly for food items to bring home. It was easy to navigate the city and public transport using Google maps and to converse using Google translate. It's very good to visit for 3 days, as you will have time and opportunity to visit Fuji Five Lakes, Mount Fuji, and, if needed, easily travel to Osaka and Kyoto using the Shinkansen. The Ropeway, pirate ship, and Hakone shrine are among the best things to experience. Chiba is an amazing city and because Star Wars Celebration 2025 was held there this year, I had to come and visit. The city is only about an hour away from Tokyo and going there from Chiba was easy to do. Locally speaking, Chiba offers many different places to eat (some of the best donuts I've ever had came from a donut shop called Uni Donuts close to the hotel I stayed at) and a cool Anime hobby store.Guest review byOliver - 10.0

The Toshugo shrine was amazing and well worth the trip. If you travel on to Takayama I recommend seeing the one tenth scale model of the shrine complex which is almost unbelievable in its detail and precision. Nikko is quite a sleepy town and many restaurants shut very early so I recommend making a reservation. The Nikko pass is worth purchasing, we enjoyed a day sightseeing on the local buses and trains. We were attending a event in Kawasaki so that is why we stayed there. We didn't really do much sight-seeing in Kawasaki. We liked that the city was only a short train ride to many other cities like downtown Toyko and Yokohama.
