The breakfast is nothing special, just bread, eggs, a sausage and sweet potatoes. Not very well done, fruits not ripe enough. As I said, nothing special.
The rooms are huge, even for a single room. The showers heat up really well, once you figure out which one is hot water 😅😅 there's plenty of water in the taps.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. Even arranged an electric kettle for us. The room was spaces and very basic as was the bathroom. We arrived and it was pouring down rain, which made the WiFi very spotty and mostly not working. it worked the next morning. Dinner was nice.

Everything was good and fresh..Monica is fantastica and always kind and efficient..apartment is ok, quiet environment,toilet and shower very clean and well organized with all sort of towels, shower gel, shampoo and lotion (not the usual small soap of other places I've visited before lol)..is a new safe compound, honest boda guys (in particular Mr Patrick) and tuk tuk always available outside the compound ready to take you to town center (naivas ec etc)...wifi perfect and working even with big rain..youtube ok..apartment is cozy but complete

The place is serene, i loved the morning sun rising beautifully on the green compound, with birds singing beautifully almost indicating that its morning, rise-up. The bed is very comfortable and place very clean. Friendly staff too.

The size of the room was excellent.
The size of the room was excellent. The meals at the restaurant were fresh, tasty, and good for healthy living. At least they heeded my request for a diet for someone living with diabetes.
The lighting in the room needs improvement. You can't switch off the lights from the sleeping side; instead, they have provided a rechargeable light, which I believe serves also for emergency lighting when there is a power interruption.
The section of the road leading to the hotel from the tarmac needs improvement.

Kakamega is a small town and it’s cosmopolitan with good...
Kakamega is a small town and it’s cosmopolitan with good entertainment spots that offer a relaxing experience, Signature club at the town center is quite good and easy to access, the sports club has great food and golfing experience but accessible to members only or reciprocating member clubs. It’s got a university not far, as such getting company for the solo traveler isn’t a hustle, many accommodation facilities available in and on the outskirts, Kisumu is 40 mins away as such commuting to or from kisumu is easy with frequent shuttle service available.
