My stay at Caren’s place was absolutely delightful. From the moment I arrived, Caren made me feel so welcome and ensured everything was perfect for my stay. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed to feel right at home. What I loved most was the stunning hill view—it was so peaceful and relaxing, especially in the mornings and evenings. Caren was always available for any questions and went above and beyond to make sure I had a smooth experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better host or a better stay. I would highly recommend Caren’s place to anyone visiting the area and I can’t wait to come back again.

    Best hotel we stayed in for the last two years in western Kenya. Good quiet location, very clean and huge rooms (even a big bathtub) and excellent hot showers. Great coffee at breakfast and very pretty property with character. Will definitely be back, wish we had stayed here sooner!!

    Kisumu is a warm town.

    Kisumu is a warm town. Warm in the sense of the weather and the people. There is amazing food here and the city is quite beautiful. The lake view is breathtaking to say the least and the air is just pure and clean.

    Had been to Kisumu before but did not sight see on this occasion. I spent only a few hours overnight in order to catch an early flight the next morning, so am unable to comment on any other aspects of Kisumu
