One of the best places I have ever stayed. The house and garden are very clean, the food and wine are delicious. The staff are very nice and always smiling, they will help you with anything. You can swim in the pool, sunbathe in the garden. There is a high level of security in the accommodation and in the area, even if you are travelling alone. The house is very cosy and homely. Our stay at Ololo was the perfect start to our vacation. The staff was incredible and went out of their way to make the experience fantastic. The game drives were so special! And of course the food from their organic farm exceeded my expectations. It was so wonderful to have choices for every meal and they were all incredible. We loved the views from the lodge and the drives in the park were some of the best I ever experienced because it is a small park you are able to see so many animals, very closely and in a short amount of time. Truly an amazing and special place!

Nice hotel, good location as you can easily move around the city, and it’s in a secure environment too, the staff here are welcoming, breakfast was good, room is as seen on booking.com. Overall, my stay was good and will definitely be using them again if I come back to this city.. good value for money 👍

Safety is the best of Karen.

Safety is the best of Karen. It's quiet, a lot of nature, sidewalks (so good for walking/running). Waterfront mall has everything you need, CJ's restaurant are high quality. Same with Naivas markets. It might be hard to get public transport, but Uber-Bolt are in 1000s. Giraffe center and Waterfront amusement are great places to visit. The Legend restaurant is more than amazing too.

I spent three days on my first trip in Nairobi.

I spent three days on my first trip in Nairobi. I used Bolt for all transportation, and felt that I saw in a car hours every day :) The city is quite big, green and lush - there's something for everyone. People were really nice, and I felt safe walking outside, even after dark (just avoid places were there are no other people, or the CBD area). What I did not like was the traffic (due to very poor public transportation) and the fact that the sidewalks/pavements were terrible all around the city. But it's a great place to experience both "real Africa" as well as modern malls, parks, and restaurants. I went to the Giraffe Center, which was nice, but the drive from downtown can take up to one hour. I also considered the National Park, which is within the city limits - maybe next time. I also visited the modern Village Market mall, as well as the genuinely African Westlands Market. I can recommend at least the latter one, as it had many shops with Kenyan souvenirs, tailors, and also second-hand clothes at cheap prices. The top floor was a but annoying, though, as I was the only customer, and every vendor tried to lure me to their shop. It's easy for me now to go to Nairobi again, and I can honestly recommend it as a global but still African city.
